Pokémon The New Order About the Fan Game Pokémon The New Order is an RPG XP Game that I've been developing since April 2020, probably due to boredom but most likely because I've always wanted to try and create my own Pokémon game! The game is a fangame made in RPG Maker XP and in no way do I receive any profit or monetary compensation for it. I have made this game under fair use laws and do not intend to breach those. The game takes place in the Fabelle region, a brand-new place with lots of new challenges to take on! However, the game is inspired by colonelsalt's Team Rocket Edition ROM Hack. That means the gameplay will take an unexpected turn. This isn't your usual Pokémon game with you being a child completing your dream as a champion... The Plot You finally make your dream come true. Through your contacts, you manage to join the infamous Team Cipher, the dominant mafia group in the whole region of Fabelle! Complete numerous missions and climb up the ranks to fulfill your very own destiny! Develop bonds with your teammates! Fight off other villainous groups to reach the top! Discover the dark side of Fabellian history and all the secrets the government has been keeping away from the public eye! Screenshots GIFs (outdated) Features The whole new region of Fabelle! Many new locations to explore and many new trainers to battle! Gen. VI Pokémon While it may not be anything too new anymore, Fairy Type and Gen VI Pokémon are included in the game. A unique, branching story Play the game, while making choices that branch the game, changing the story as you progress, and determining how the characters see you. Gen 3 style map The whole game gives off a nostalgic vibe from the old gen 3 Mechanics and abilities up to Gen 9 With Gen 9 Pokémon come their abilities! Miscelanous features that improve the gameplay More features, like HMs for items, reusable TMs, nature changers, an item updating your current objective and more... Download DOWNLOAD BETA V3.0 DOWNLOAD BETA V2.1 DOWNLOAD BETA V1.0 FAQ None, at the moment, but if there are any, they'll be in this section. Credits Of course, I didn't make most of the assets used in the game. In this spoiler I've listed people whom I'd like to thank for their work, since without them, this wouldn't even exist. If you notice any asset you created in this game and you're not listed in the spoiler, I am terribly sorry. Message me and I'll quickly add you to the credits. If you see me using your work and you haven't stated it's completely free to use and are dissatisfied with me using it, message me and I'll work out the situation. (Credits are bound to change as more Betas are released) If you find any bugs, errors or typos, be sure to message me

Created in Pokémon Essentials v18.1 (+MKXP) Plot It is by chance one day that you fall into the Honnis Underground, left to fend for yourself with only a single Pokéball. It is through a rather unusual series of events that you find yourself wrapped up in a conspiracy involving the beloved "Baker's Dozen"! Will you save the region from chaos? Will you uncover the secrets of the Honnis Region? Will you beat 8 gyms and the Pokémon League in the process? ...Probably. The Honnis Region The Honnis region is a sprawling and diverse land filled with countless different Pokémon and cities filled with all kinds of interesting people and places. Though it contains countless secrets of its own, its most interesting feature is undoubtedly the Honnis Underground, a vast network of cave systems containing hundreds of Pokémon that cannot be found anywhere else in the region. Pokémon within it are more active than their surface counterparts, and there are some individuals that have demonstrated unusual amounts of strength and aggression. It is said that the Pokémon within have the mysterious property of 'scaling' to the strength of your party! Features Treat Traits Special abilities granted upon consuming specific items, Traits come in a wide variety of effects that can be granted to any Pokémon! Grants varying stat boosts depending on a species' strength, allowing even weaker Pokémon to keep up with their evolved counterparts While a Pokémon possesses a Trait, it loses the ability to evolve via level-up, requiring it to be evolved through the party menu. Through the use of the EZ-Oven and some recipes, you can even craft your own Pokétreats at any time! New Forms and Evolutions The Honnis region contains an utterly massive amount of Pokémon, and depending on what part of the region you are in, some species will even take on entirely new forms. It appears that some Pokémon even possess entirely new evolutions. Yet what are the mysteries surrounding this mysterious 'Flux Stone'? New Moves and Abilities, and Rebalances Freeze has been changed to Frostbite, as seen in Legends Arceus Certain 'weaker' moves and abilities have had their effects strengthened in some form Many Pokémon have had their learnsets expanded, and certain species that lacked secondary or hidden abilities have now gained them There are also a variety of brand new moves, items, and abilities! Various QOL Touches NPCs that allow you to fast travel between previously visited towns and areas All trainer battles can be forfeited, rather than requiring a loss TMs can now be taught directly from the summary screen (and even in PC boxes) instead of requiring you to manually sift through your bag. Sun Dust and Moon Dust, held items that let you make time-based evolutions at any time Marks can also be acquired through defeating wild Pokémon instead of being limited to newly captured Pokémon HMs can now be used just by having them in your inventory IVs and EVs are visible on the summary screen Pokémon with hidden abilities have a 10% chance of appearing in the wild Egg Moves can now be taught at any Pokémon Center (costs Heart Scales) 'Shards', items that allow you to boost a Pokémon's IVs Happiness-based evolutions have a much more lenient threshold The PC-Link, a rechargeable machine that lets you heal and use the PC from anywhere. And Many More...! Including... 2v1 Boss Battles against particularly powerful Pokémon Two additional shiny variations for every Pokémon Secret Bases Over 250 obtainable TMs Multiple battle facilities Raid Dens A wide variety of sidequests with exclusive rewards and encounters Wild encounters have a 20% chance of starting as double battles when possible, you can capture Pokémon even with two opponents on the field Soft level caps that slow experience gain past a certain threshold, boosted with each badge Online Trading & Battling Team Mak Lead Dev, general stuff-doer Vendily Scripting AOZero2 Composing Playtesters TanookiPrick, Donut, Glacierfury, saltymuch.jpg, Doop, senok, DoopyAngel, Ashwell, Count Sushik, HauntedDitto, KennyCatches, Ayrei, Mashirosakura, Lunarus Note: The game has not been developed with Joiplay in mind, and is not currently compatible with the app. DOWNLOAD LINK v0.4.15 (Updated 09/11/25) https://www.mediafire.com/file/40p6bjx4ojj3pt7/Zirconium_v0.4.15.rar/file Mirror: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18Nyywp-NODAZObvXSN7LJXMBFhuYloNL/view?usp=sharing Contains 3 gyms; 8-10 hours of main story content discounting side content Patch (v0.4.15) Install by unzipping the file and combining the 'Data' folder within with the root game folder. https://www.mediafire.com/file/anpypscdpqsc7am/Patch_v1.0.15.rar/file Changelog v0.4.15 Added two additional ingredient options to every café Nerfed the encounter rates in various areas across the game Fixed sidequest event triggering if you lost to Tyson in Ambell City Fixed issue where TMs did not work on the regional eeveelutions Fixed softlock that would occur when accepting the “A Special Specimen” quest from a certain direction v0.4.14 Fixed crash that would occur when picking up a Poison Barb during an expedition Added frequent checks to badge variable to prevent sidequest-related crashes v0.4.13.1 Fixed issue with shuffled Pokémon form data v0.4.13 Fixed pseudo-softlock on Route 7 Fixed issue where Route 8 could not be accessed prior to completing the Gym 3 plot. OVERVIEW ~Made using Pokemon Essentials~ For Generations, Pokemon has been a game where you get your starter from the professor, catch wild Pokemon, Beat the gym leaders, defeat the elite 4 and inevitably become Champion. Maybe you even get a legendary or two during your journey. All of this is known as the typical Pokemon game format. Today, I bring you something different.. Unique, so to speak. This project is currently being worked on by two people. Both of us enjoyed the creation of this game and this is the first game we ever made and released. We hope you all enjoy playing it. Without further delay! FEATURES & SCREENSHOTS ~ Player's Choice - A majority of in game outcomes are solely dependent on your choices alone. What you say, do and decide will dictate your future, just like real life. ~ Character Stats - Stats such as Intelligence, Strength, Charm and Skill are all calculated based on your choices in game. These stats also determine what you as an individual are capable of. Make a choice, and you'll see one of these stats effected. Intelligence - Determines how smart the player is. It is needed to ascend to higher rank classes and discover the unknown. Strength - Determines how physically strong the player is. It is needed to move, make or break objects! Charm - Determines how attractive the player is. It is needed to increase success when flirting and to encounter Legendary Pokemon! Skill - Determines the player's abilities as a Pokemon trainer. It is needed to unlock more wild Pokemon and Trainers to battle! ~ Energy - A character stat that determines how many actions you are able to do in a day. Various activities will consume your Energy. You will be notified once your Energy is low, and once it is low enough, you will have the choice to sleep and start the next day. ~ Interactions - Not necessarily a character stat, but still effected by player actions. It determines the game's time of day. Essentially, the more interactions you make in a day, the more time has passed. It is reset everyday. ~ Reputation - Positive and Negative alignment based on your choices in game. Some may be good, others not so much. The same person may say different things to you depending on your level of Reputation. ~ Academy Perks - Winning Club activities will grant you different perks that are permanent! There are 13 in total but you can only have two so choose wisely! ~ NPC Affinity - Some of the NPC's in your class are students you can bond with. These NPC's will give you a variety of things. Their affinity with you is displayed when interacted with. You may talk and battle with them daily, and will be able to unlock future interactions as well. ~ Schooling System - You are at an academy with your own dorm room. You are expected to complete homework on time and attend class Monday - Friday. Failure to do so will result in a detention. Getting enough Detentions and skipping detentions skipped will ultimately lead to your expulsion. ~ Multiple Save Files - You are able to have up to 8 different savefiles! This gives you the option to see and experience the many different choices and outcomes available in Pokemon Pathways without having to lose your main progress! Here's a video made by me doing a quick overview of the 9.0 update Shout to all the people who went out of their way to make videos showcasing the game! GAME DOWNLOAD Thank you for everyone who has downloaded the game and tested the alpha up to this point, and also for everyone who will download from this point on. There shouldn't be anything wrong with this latest release, but of course if there is feel free to comment about it here and we'll get to it ASAP. Again, Thank You for Playing! Pokemon Beyond the Peak - Demo V1.1 Release! Hey everyone, over the last few months a longtime friend and I decided to take on the project of creating a truly challenging pokemon game. This is the first of any kind of game that we have ever developed and have had a blast doing so. We hope you guys enjoy the game as much as we enjoyed making this demo! We're thrilled to announce that the demo for Pokemon Beyond the Peak is now available for download! After countless hours of development, we're excited to share our vision of the Ecru region with trainers everywhere. What's in the Demo? The demo offers 10+ hours of gameplay that will take you through the first two gyms of the Ecru region. And introduce you to some characters that will become mainstay throughout the future story. The Story so Far: The demo starts off with the player in a small costal area called Bisque Town. From there they are sent to the professors lab to choose their starter along side an eevee, to begin their journey. You will find very quickly that Ecru is a region where the best of the best have come to gather. Each team getting stronger as you progress through the game. There is no elite 4, but rather a yearly championship tournament that is held where the strongest 18 ranked trainers in the region compete for the title of champion. There was once someone who dominated the tournament with seemingly no competition, but they have vanished a long time ago without a trace. In the modern era the competitors are still great, and mostly made up of the Ecru Regions gym leaders, but every now and then there's a new face that comes along to shake things up. Because of how serious everyone takes this, the gym leaders are harder in the Ecru region than most games, and the gym leaders may be out training or on some other mission rather than inside of their gym. This has made it very difficult for new people to come through and complete the gym challenge as it isnt such a streamlined process. On top of all this, there's a shady group that has popped up (not yet introduced in the demo but will be in the next update :) ), who is in a grab for power and wants to make a move in the championship. They will do anything for power, including seeking out pokemon unlike others found anywhere else in the game (perma mega for example). Later leaders as well as high up evil admins have the aid of legendary as well as mythical pokemon. This story has been in play for some time now and you're late to the party. But you'll be shaking everything up. We will likely be revamping the early story as we get better at making maps, coding events, and have our story fleshed out more! We hope you guys enjoy the ride with us! Key Features: All Generations, All Starters - Choose your companion from ANY starter Pokemon across all nine generations as well as have the option to select their hidden ability! Double Battle Focus - Every battle in Pokemon Beyond the Peak is a double battle, demanding new strategies and team compositions. This isn't just a gimmick - we've completely overhauled the AI to provide challenging, strategic encounters that will test even veteran players. Complete Pokemon Roster - Encounter and catch Pokemon from generations 1 through 9. The Ecru region is home to an incredibly diverse ecosystem where classic favorites meet the newest additions to the Pokemon world. Battle Gimmicks (Coming in Full Release) - While not all are available in the demo, the full game will feature Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Dynamax, and Terastallization, giving you unprecedented strategic options. EXP ALL - Given at the very start of the game. You will need to train up many team members as you make your way through the demo so we decided to give this from the start. There are also trainers who will help you grind up pokemon in each town. Speed Up Button - Press Q to speed up the game. Once is a 1.5x, Twice is a 2x. It is a toggle rather than having to hold down. You'll be running back to the pokemon center a whole lot in this game, so this should be some helpful info. Move Relearner In Stat Screen - You can have a pokemon remember moves they've learned previously right inside the stat menu. Just click on the moveset and then select "Remember Moves". Follower Pokemon - If for some reason you ever need to recall your follower pokemon because it's blocking an event Click "A" on the keyboard to have it go back into it's pokeball! What Makes Our Game Special? Beyond the features listed above, we've spent countless hours on creating an AI that provides a genuine challenge. The AI considers team synergies, predicts player moves, and adapts its strategy dynamically throughout battle. This AI was specifically designed to feel as much like another human playing against you as possible. It can pull off complex strategies that 99.9% of other games cannot pull off. This should play different than any other game out at the moment once you get to and past the first gym. Also each playthrough and the pokemon you will use varies greatly depending on what start you choose. Pick wisely! The Ecru region itself is crafted with a heavy approach to battling. It is a trainer ridden landscape with fights wherever you go. Always be ready for someone to come and surprise you! Join Our Discord: DISCORD LINK Credits and Thanks Pokemon Beyond the Peak wouldn't exist without the incredible Pokemon community and the tools they've created. First and foremost, we want to thank the creators of Pokemon Essentials, which serves as the foundation of our game : We'd also like to extend our gratitude to the team behind Pokemon Reborn, we've utilized some of their assets to help bring our vision to life more quickly, and their work has been invaluable. We're actively developing the full game and incorporating community feedback to make Pokemon Beyond the Peak the best it can be. We plan on building the base game first, and then going back and getting some original character sprites for the player character! We are also planning on adding all new revealed mega evolutions once we find out some more about them and what they all look like! If anyone has any other suggestions please feel free to lets us know them in the discord! We encourage you to share your experiences, report any bugs you encounter, and let us know what you think! Your feedback during this demo phase is invaluable in shaping the final product. Known Issues WARNING: Save Often! New! Update v20 * * * Description * * * Made with RPG Maker XP and Pokemon Essentials v20.1 Teams Neoplasma and Cipher are threatening the Flora Region, and you just moved there. Stop Plasma and Cipher as they are working together and spreading Shadow Pokemon across the region. Assist the newest Vigilante in the region in her fight against the evil teams. Travel across the regions to high snowy mountain peaks and swamps. Battle the 8 Gym Leaders across the lands, Defeat the Elite 4 and Champion, Stop Team Cipher and Neo-Plasma, Master Mega Evolutions, and heal the Shadow Pokemon you encounter. The following info isn’t fully updated yet. But there is a new version. * * * Features * * * 6 New Mega Evolutions: The three starters, Delphox, Samurott, and Decidueye. The other three are Gigalith, Haxorus, and Mismagius New Regional Forms: Krookodile Line becomes Fire/Dark and Drednaw becomes Water/Grass 242 Pokemon: There are pokemon from Gens 1-8, but not all of them. The count also includes previous and later evolution stages. Gyms: There are 16 of them! Each with their own puzzle and city as well. Each has their own unique leaders as well! New Regions: The game is set in the Flora region, based on Florida, but with maybe a bit more variation in elevation. New! (v14) Now introducing Flora Cay based on the Florida Keys as well. So far there is only one city and nothing beyond it, I'd have added mroe but I fixed a crash so I guess I'll include the new area. New Story: There is a new story to follow, it was written by me, so it may not be the best ever, but there is a story. Post-Game Boss Fights: Two trainers in two of the towns act as boss fights and only are there on certain days. * * * Images * * * * * * In Development Notes AKA The Changelog* * * v20 New Stuff! Revamped Encounter Tables (More available Pokemon and less 1% encounters) New Move Tutor for the Pledge Moves Revamped 1st Gym Challenge Fixed Dialogue Fixed that one trainer with an end game team before the third gym Added items around the map Berries! They Exist Now! Somewhat. Fixed the missing music on title screen! Reverted to an older title screen cause it looked better! Added more mega stones around the map! Game Corner in Palmetto Town now lets you buy evolution items for points, other than stones. Fixed a random Cheat Tree that I used to test a double battle. Its gone. All Evolution items now have their respective Pokemon in the game somewhere. Most Megas should be in the game now. Hid rare candies across the world. v19 New Stuff I finished every gym in the new region! Feel free to explore it fully and challenge every single gym! Rematches! Once you beat the 8 gyms in Flora Cay, you can access a unique set of rematches. v18 New Stuff Removed the cheat tree from v17's Battle Pier. Added two new routes, two new cites, and two new gyms. Each with their own encounters. One might be a bit more inspired by what delayed this update for so long. Added a way to get a masterball. Added encounters to the route that originally had no encounters. Fixed a few errors and spelling mistakes. v17 New Stuff Added a battle-tower-like area called the battle pier in Milkford city to get held battle items, nature mints, and ability changing items. Added two new gyms and fixed a few issues. Added while encounters to the first route of Flora Cay. Added two new routes, though one of which, doesn't have any encounters or trainers. Added a fun new trainer who loves using level 1 rattata. Old Stuff v15 I believe I fixed the crash causing blackbelt in the Route 6 Cave Save files are based on the name of the game in the game.ini file in the install folder. I haven't yet changed the default name from Pokemon Essentials v20.1 to Pokemon Orange yet as that would reset any progress, but it can conflict with any other fangames with the same default name. If you get an error when opening the game, try editing the ini to change the line with Title = to Title = Pokémon Orange. Do not take the ferry in Orange Bridge until you've beaten the 2nd Gym. Otherwise, the game can potentially cause a major freeze. New Stuff v15 Added a 10th gym. Game can now be completed. Added speedup button with the speedup plugin, binding is Q I fixed a few missing themes for a few major areas. fixed a crash in route 8 cave, fixed a switch setting for a cipher grunt in the route 6 cave v14 New Region, kinda. 9th gym added. The Flora Cay is accessible after beating UB Void Neo-Cipher Boss. v13 Game is unbeatable, a small error in forgetting to add a switch requirement makes teh final plasma boss fight not appear. Oops. Finished Story. Elite 4 and Champion added. Short Post-Game added. Added the rest of the new mega stones to the world. New Post-Game rooms for catching Mythical Pokemon and Ultra Beasts. Populated some cities and towns. Added interiors to first few cities. Added Regional Pokedex for all wild encounters. New Notes I'm planning on adding a second shorter region for another set of gyms so you can use the Mythical Pokemon and Deoxys that you get from the main story. The new area will be based on the Florida Keys. I dunno when it'll be done, but it'll be a while. Old Notes I'm only one dude working on it in my free time, which I don't really have much of. I've been focusing on the story and gyms, so most towns will probably feel empty. Most buildings don't have interiors. Some interiors may also be from the Starter Kit as well, the department store, Pokemon Centers, and Pokemarts come to mind first. Typos may be fairly frequent. Other than one guy, I'm the only one who tests the game and I'm garbage at typing and catching typos. balance might be a tad bit unbalanced. Discord for updates and such

Legends of Aurora Made with Pokémon Essentials v20.1 Introduction: Howdy! My name's Midnight. This is a project I've been working on for years at this point. Some of you might remember an older version of this game I posted a few years ago. That game, while very ambitious considering my skillset at the time, wasn't very good. It was buggy, maps and environments were open but barren, and the story didn't have a consistent throughline. In the years since, I've become infinitely better at using RPG Maker and Essentials and well as grown more accustomed to writing stories, so I decided to bring Legends of Aurora back and give it the treatment it always deserved. I hope you enjoy! Project Description: Legends of Aurora celebrates the Pokémon series' past while working toward a brighter future. Countless callbacks and references from the franchise's history enrich the new Region and setting with familiarity. At the same time, it emphasizes the core strengths of the Pokémon formula, such as exploration and world-building, and explores a more complex narrative focused on how the past affects people and the many ways people can change. Plot Synopsis: Legends of Aurora follows the journey of a young Trainer traveling through the recently settled Aurora Region. You will take on the role of either Ayden or Ava. Our protagonist originally had plans to work with their local Pokémon Professor, but instead joins a "super league", where the best Pokémon Trainers in the world are invited to participate. During their travels, our hero will discover the wrongdoings of Team Ace, who are reviving Shadow Pokemon. An encounter with a special experimental Riolu leads you to work together to stop Team Ace's schemes. Unique Features: A curated Regional Pokédex The return of Shadow Pokémon Several Quality of Life Features (Quicksave, multiple save slots, move relearning and nicknaming from the menu, etc.) A Hard Mode featuring revamped boss fights HMs are removed in favor of the HM Catalogue, a Key Item to aid in any progression needs A Quest Log to keep track of the main story and side activities Mid-battle dialogue to enhance battles Cinematic and expansive cutscenes Screenshots: Download Link: Discord Link: Documentation: Readme: Credits: Team Members: TheMidnightLucario Director, Scenario Writer, Interior Map Designer Frousteleous Lead City & Route Map Designer, Sprite Artist Halehallo Programmer Veryrealnoah City Map Designer

Dangerous, alien-like creatures emerged from a mysterious portal deep within Redstone Canyon located in the historic Tamterra Region, infecting innocent Pokémon with a virus, turning them incredibly vile and hostile. Many scientists and powerful trainers joined forces to combat the new found virus Pokémon and beasts. But only one person dared to enter the portal trying to find the origin of the chaos. It was your father. 15 years later, he still hasn't returned, but your mother continues to believe he will. She founded an organization called the Canyon Operation which focuses on researching the virus Pokémon and protecting the citizens of the region, in hopes it will help him come back again someday. Now that the Redstone Academy has trained you enough to face the virus beasts, you are finally allowed to travel through the Tamterra region with your very own Pokémon, alongside your closest friends. Explore a region more or less struggling to adapt to the uncontrollable dangers threatening it and uncover the origin behind the chaos! The Tamterra Region Explore the towns, zones and landmarks of the Tamterra region in any order you want. The open world of Pokémon Chaos Origins invites you to 13 biomes offering a diverse selection of Pokémon from Gen 1-9. Decide for yourself how big you want your challenge to be. The zones of Tamterra are divided into different colors defining their difficulty level. Inside every zone an Ace Trainer is waiting for you and will gift you useful items after you defeated them. However, rival and boss battles will always scale to your level, allowing more freedom on your adventure. Obtain all eight gym badges and six base medals to qualify yourself for a match against the five strongest trainers in the region. Pokémon Lost World : Echoes of Eternity Information Base: Pokémon Essentials Language: English Creator: Ryuushedo / Drayzer Pokemon Lost World Echoes of Eternity Official Discord : https://discord.gg/rBVnZggsFk Introduction Hello everyone! This is my first project made in Pokémon Essentials: Pokémon Lost World: Echoes of Eternity. Originally, this was meant to be my second game, following Lost World: Redeem the Future. However, I realized I wanted players to become familiar with my writing style first, so I decided to develop Echoes of Eternity as a more classic Rpg Storyline. For this game, I am focusing heavily on the story, as I love storytelling. At the same time, I really want to create challenging boss fights that require strategy rather than just attacking. Some battles will require debuffing moves, flinching effects, status conditions, and defensive strategies like Protect in order to win but that's still on progress. Story The planet of Evvig is ruled by a Pokémon known as Ouroboros, the Infinity Dragon. Long ago, it saved the world from destruction at the hands of an evil god named Azzarots and sealed it away to prevent harm to humanity. However, before being sealed, Azzarots chose a loyal servant to one day bring about its revival. This plan was ultimately stopped by Jake, the second hero chosen by Ouroboros to save the world. Centuries have passed. The protagonist is a survivor of a brutal attack by a cult that burned down their village, sacrificing countless lives in an effort to revive the Evil god, Azzarots. Now 18 years old, the protagonist has spending their time playing games at home. However, when their professor asks them to run an errand, they decide that perhaps it's time to travel. seeking their purpose and discovering what they truly want to do. Features An all-new region featuring 8 Gym Leaders and 8 Elemental Masters Custom Mega Evolutions and Gigantamax Forms reworked as Custom Megas New moves, including a new status condition called Bleed Ouroboric Forms – special regional forms unique to Evvig Unreal-time system A mix of Pokémon from Gen 1 to Gen 9, totaling around 500 Pokémon HM items instead of traditional HMs Level scaling for a balanced experience Quest system to enhance storytelling and side objectives Custom abilities and moves EXP All available from the start Encounter check system to track wild Pokémon locations Lore Log, Journal System, or Report System for deeper world-building NEW STARTER Dont worry i tested it already, all stat and moveset is balanced. Order is born from Chaos, but this is merely the start of its gestation. Engine: Pokémon Essentials v21.1 Premise: The original Xenoverse holds a very special place in my heart, as the first fangame project I have been actively following for years finally coming to fruition. Over the years since its release, me and a lot of other passionate fans have had time to assess this charming, flawed, uneven game, and we felt like it deserved a second shot, to become the best version of itself it could possibly be. With the formation of Beehive Studios and the former developers moving onto an original IP, our as-of-now-unnamed Team has taken the opportunity, with the permission of said original developers, to retool this game while preserving as much of its original identity as possible. This is going to be a remake of Xenoverse, using Essentials v21.1, and this demo covers the first couple Gyms of the game, plus a little bit beyond that (everything before the Galvantula Boss + new stuff we added) Plot Summary: Months have gone by after the player character's father, esteemed researcher and family man Versil, was kidnapped by a mysterious figure from his past. Now his child, Kay or Alice, has set off on a journey across the Eldiw Region to grow strong and find out who has taken their father and why. In their travels, they fight off invasive X Pokemon from another dimension, the Xenoverse, as they wreak havoc, overtake territory, and endanger the lives of the people all throught the region. These encounters, however, are often less than spontaneous, as their appearances are tied to the criminal organization called "Team Dimension", the ones responsible for their father's kidnapping, whose ranks are filled by robots instead of people. Among the many mysteries of the Eldiw Region, the Starter that has chosen Kay/Alice seems to have a connection with the very forces that make up the fabric of reality, which becomes the point of interest for a young and brash cyborg, with a Pokemon who seems to share this connection alongside the Starters. For those who are familiar with Xenoverse's plot, this doesn't sound too unfamiliar, but the details and the context have been completely overhauled, while keeping the broad strokes of the story and the various set pieces mostly intact. I like to think that all the changes made were for the better, but I require feedback to be certain. What's new? The original Pokemon Xenoverse took place in an original region, featured Fakemon and Mega Evolutions and had a heavy focus on the story. None of this is going to change, but a lot of things around this framework have, and let's start off with a bang with: Rewrites While putting a lot of focus on the story, especially in the later half, this game seems to have never gotten the privilege of a second draft, and all sorts of creative turmoils behind the scenes have led to the overall story feeling very... unfocused and non cohesive. This is where this whole project started, my rewrites of the story that tried to tie together concepts introduced later into the very start, ensuring a more solid foundation from which the game itself could be built upon in terms of narrative. While the characters will be largely the same, outside of a few exceptions, I hope you find them more fleshed out and compelling than their original counterparts, especially since, as I said, the story is still going to be one of the main focal points of this game. Re-Balanced Many Pokemon from the original game have been rebalanced, that comes with the fangame territory a lot of the time, and some need it more than most (Looks at... all of Gen 2), but usually you don't really need that many powerful Pokemon if the trainers are as easy as they normally are... But not anymore! Because now the Trainers are (hopefully) gonna pose a real challenge, mostly in the important battles. Said battles are also mostly going to be double battles, as to spice up the gameplay experience, showcase potential strategies that help make bosses stand out from one another and allow more playstyle variety. Bossfights Speaking of battles, however, one of Xenoverse's biggest claims to fame was the X Pokemon Boss Battles, which sees you fighting a Pokemon with boosted stats and multiple health bars, and while that has remained, the boss battle mechanics have been remade to add more variety. You use 2 of your Pokemon to fight 1 Boss, like a reverse Totem Battle, but aside from the Pokemon you fight being stronger, they also possess multiple phases, where upon triggering the phase change all status and stat drops vanish, and something else happens to shake up the battle and make one boss more distinct from another. When I mean that important trainers and bosses are more powerful, however, I don't just mean their movesets and items (although they are), but they will also, after a certain stage, have fully realised IVs and EVs! Don't panic, because there's two other factors you need to consider: 1) We have a plug in that allows you to customize your own EVs from the very start! The EV Pool scales up with your level, so if you want to, you can try tailoring your mons to your needs. 2) ...A lot of these tougher buffs are reserved for the new Hard mode, and while Normal Mode is also gonna be harder, stuff like EVs and IVs and incredible items and moves is something that will be introduced more gradually later on. In short, your Pokemon are stronger, your enemies are stronger, and you are gonna have all the tools you need to face them and then some! Even more Fakemons We couldn't resist this one, this is what Pokemon is all about, creating creatures you can play with, and we wanted to stretch our creativity too! We mostly added more regional variants, so as to not leave Eldiwian Meowth completely alone, some Convergent Pokemon because those are just fun to design and come up with, and a few special scrapped Gen 2 Pokemon that have been given new life and new places in the world. There are plans for more regional forms and some brand new X Species Pokemon too, but those are best for locales that are beyond this demo's reach... for now. Gotta Catch them All Xenoverse's original Pokedex was by no means small, but since this franchise is all about monster collecting, I have decided to expand it even more, but to incentivse the player to actually CATCH the Pokemon, another fangame has shown me how to cater to that design philosophy. Pokemon Tectonic is a game entirely revolving around catching Pokemon to reap rewards in the form of EXP Candy and other items, so you can get any wild Pokemon into fighting shape (up to a level cap). The feedback loop of catching pokemon to get rewards so you can beat bosses to then unlock the ability to catch more Pokemon to reap more rewards is one that I find to be pretty engaging and satisfying, as such it has been applied to this game, with the addition of it being integrated with the Achievement system of the original Xenoverse too! Dens Dens were a really neat idea, exploring mini dungeons with your Starter to obtain some loot and engage in puzzles really helps both fleshing out both your connection to the Starter the world the Pokemon live in, since it is a den and all. This game also had some great puzzles... in the postgame. Yeah, it took them time to get good and most of the dens just... aren't. Most of the original dens puzzles rely on trial and error, and all for loot that is not worth it at all. Well, not anymore! Now there's more loot then ever, the loot is (hopefully) more worthwhile, and the puzzles have been diversified! This demo has 3 real dens to show that off, but there's gonna be way more in the future. Screenshots Demo Download: Windows version: Xeno EX v1.0.2.zip Mac version (Let us know if you encounter problems, we tested it a bunch and all seems correct but it's new so we wanna hear eventual problems. If yes, using Whisky to run the windows version will work just fine.) Xeno EX v 1.0.2 Mac.zip There is also a link to our Discord Server, from which you can give us all feedback on your experience. Invite Link: https://discord.gg/vNepvR4j This is the first step of a journey, where we try to make this game into the best version of itself it could possibly be, and we hope that you will provide all the feedback needed to get to that point. Thank you for your time, and hope you enjoy this Demo. Per Aspera Ad Astra. CREDITS:

Welcome to the kingdom of Keltios! I have the honor to present my fangame project: Pokémon Sacred Phoenix. Born on June 23, 2018, here it is officially presented in the community! Currently developed on a heavily modded version 24 of PSDK, this ambitious project aims to bring audacity and originality both in terms of the scenario and Pokémon gameplay while retaining the very essence of this famous license. In the long term, it is on the open-source Godot engine that I want to develop on, because it is the only way to make a fangame worthy of my ambitions. In the spirit of the Relic Castle's game jams, this project that will be free of public use in order to allow everyone to benefit from it, but also to be able to make a contribution to the edifice. When a Legend falls into one of the eternal human conflicts, the Mythical King will lose his Guardian and will no longer be worthy of Arceus' Throne. From this fall will be reborn the curse of the Sovereign of Kalos. Then utter Shadow will plunge the Divine Pokémon into a tormented sleep, subjecting it to dark servitude. From this Shadow that puts many Pokémons' souls to sleep, the Rebirth will shine with the Rainbow Bird. Blessed by the flames of the Sacred Fire and the unconditional Love of the Phoenix Prophet, the Pokémons of Light will restore the balance of the Legendaries ... For from the Shadow type is born the Light, the balance of the world will never be broken. Pokémon Sacred Phoenix is a fan-game that will introduce you to the kingdom of Keltios, a medieval-fantasy world blessed by the Legendaries. Loving myths and legends, it is therefore only natural that I transcribe these passions through my creation. This will involve a unique project on many points, originalities that will make the strength of this project: On Giratina's sphere (the plot): What would a world be without adventures? A medieval-fantasy world is full of mages, prophecies, court intrigues, quests, enemies, battles, deaths, hope and heroes. Through a scenario that skillfully mixes Celtic inspiration and the richness of the official Pokémon Lore, you will live the Phoenix Prophecy and will be led to discover the origin of a mysterious evil (the Shadow type) corrupting the heart of some pocket monsters. On Palkia's sphere (the space): Keltios, a frontier nation of ancient Kalos, will be a brand-new land to explore. At the height of its glory, this historically rich kingdom remains twice the size of a traditional Pokémon region. On Dialga's sphere (the time): A very rare originality, the quest of the Sacred Phoenix will go far into the past: 500 years after the Kalosian reign of AZ, or 2500 years before the contemporary events of the Pokéworld. This implies the absence of almost all technologies. Forget about glass buildings, motor vehicles, computers, Pokémon Centers and modern medicines! It is an opportunity to discover new landscapes (tilesets) and a different philosophy of life, especially magic which is very prominent. It is thanks to it that the forging of Apricorns into Pokéballs was already known and mastered in Keltios. And to make sure you don't feel out of place, you will have the opportunity to "Gotta Catch 'Em All" and to collect dozens of pocket monsters thanks to a mage's privilege that you will inherit very quickly. Yes, an enchanted grimoire will act as a Pokédex! On Arceus' sphere (the physical laws): As magic replaces technology, the inhabitants have learned to live in symbiosis with nature and the "magical creatures" that populate it. You will learn for example that Pokémons recover their energy by camping or resting in an inn (or by praying at an altar), but also that battles can be deadly to your fellow travelers in case of a blow that is too powerful (feature that can be set in the options: disabled, realistic or Nuzlocke). Because yes, in Keltios, the carnal envelope of a Pokémon remains mortal and many trainers have shed tears as a consequence! Generally speaking, the Pokémon gameplay will be revisited in order to get closer to a classic fantasy RPG while keeping the essence of the license. The Sacred Phoenix Quest (and its secondary objectives) will lead you to visit all 22 kelt towns, but also potentially some of the 12 known cities beyond the borders. After an introduction on Phoenix Hill, where your starter will be given to you, your story will start in the peaceful province of Alienor in the west of Keltios, to the battlefields near the Distortion Massif, and to the dream of every trainer: the Mt. Asgard, where the Colosseum of Arceus, the headquarters of the Pokémon League of Keltios, is built. The map is designed to offer you a semi-liberty inspired by open worlds while guiding you a minimum to avoid finding yourself in an off-level zone. In keeping with the Pokémon tradition, most of the cities are themed around the Celtic tree. The geography will also make nods to ancient legends such as those of Avalon or Broceliande. – A mature scenario rich in myths and legends, and where the Legendaries are honored as gods. – Three Dragon Starters: Dratini, Bagon and Gible. All three final forms have their Mega-Evolution. – Unique tilesets for a medieval-fantasy atmosphere – Mapping using the terraforming technique: all Keltios maps have a realistic relief and are perfectly joined. This provides an organic environment and a semi-open world that will allow soaring in the sky between all areas. – An orchestral soundtrack by Pipevanes and Braxton Burks! – 3 rivals – 10 Augurs (replacing Gym Leaders), 2 of which are optional. Each will give a Talisman, equivalent to a badge. – Two sects that will act as Teams: the Cult of Darkrai and the Cult of Giratina. – Fully customizable difficulty, from Assist Mode to Giratina's Hell (hardcore Nuzlocke). – You can forfeit to most trainers and thus decline the battle (but it will be perceived as a dishonor by your party). It is also possible to explore Keltios without battle-capable Pokémon, but be careful not to make unfortunate encounters! – A Game Over is present and can be triggered in three ways: being defeated by a hostile enemy (death match), being killed by one of your own Pokémon or having all your creatures die (with an optional Black Out Clause). – Follow Me: you first Pokémon walks by your side. This can be toggled by [Ctrl] key and has implications on the gameplay. – Presence of holy and cursed places. This impacts your magic and the behavior of your Pokémons. – Shiny encounter chance increased to 1/1074. Shinies have better IVs. – Alpha and Noble Pokémons ! They have a greater chance of being shiny because of their perfect IVs (1/266 and 1/64 chances respectively). – Speed-up button ([F5] key). – An internal clock for the game with its own calendar and season management. – Harvest of Keltios: many wild plants can be harvested in the lands of Keltios and require no maintenance. Their productivity depends on the season, but the Floral Gift (a passive ability possessed by fully evolved Grass Pokémons) can speed up an almost ready harvest. – New potions and healing items adapted to the old era of Keltios. – A mining system allows you to collect the raw materials needed for crafting, including the creation of Pokéballs. – Field Effects: Like Pokémon Reborn, battlefields will have a very significant influence on the power of attacks and will combine with weather and auras. The number of weathers will also be extended. – Caught Overhaul: The capture mechanics have been revisited. A Pokémon that is not weakened or of too high level can deflect balls. Conversely, weakening them will significantly increase your chances of capture! At the same time, the Apricorns-based Pokéballs – the only ones present in Keltios – are rebalanced and offered in three levels of quality. Thus, each one of them will have its utility. – Death Overhaul: The death of Pokémon will be a reality in Keltios: you will be able to lose your magical creatures if they are hit too hard. This can be set in the options (disabled / realistic / Nuzlocke mode). A reincarnation system is present and allows you to get some ghost Pokémons! – Overkill mechanism: Grants a XP boost in case of a powerful fatal blow, but beware not to bloodshed too often. – Loyalty Overhaul: Many parameters influence the feelings of your Pokémons. Gain their trust by giving them food or massaging them. Their level of friendship will have a real influence on battles and will determine how loyal they are to you. You can also instill fear in them to gain respect. – XP Overhaul: Depending on the importance of the fights, the experience gain will be more or less important. At the same time, an original soft level cap greatly accelerates the experience gained if your Pokémon is underlevel and reduces it by half if your Pokémon is too high level. The overlevel also reduces the dread felt by your magical creature, which will impact the obedience they have for you. This effect can be compensated with high friendship. – Pokémons can evolve mid-battle and trade evolutions are replaced by alternatives ones. – A Keltios Pokédex made up of around 500 creatures, of which 15% are Fakemons and regional variants (known as "ancient" forms). New Mega-Evolutions are also present! – Two new types: Shadow and Light. It will be possible to grant one of these two types to your Pokémon through a ritual. – A rebalanced type chart! – Status moves are divided into three sub-categories: buff, debuff, and terrain. – Effectiveness Overhaul: Chances of hitting with a debuff move are influenced by type affinity. Affinity also influences the chances of inflicting a side effect and the rate of indirect or fixed damage. – Statuses and critical hits have been overhauled. – Hax smoother: Minimizes the luck/bad luck discrepancies that frustrate players in battle. This will be done by taking into account the success or failure of the last actions. For example, if you failed your Blizzard, the next one will have more chances to succeed, and vice versa. – EVs and IVs will be visible on the stats. The Pokémon summary will also include much more information than in the official games. (Great for fans of RPG feats). – The EV system is rebalanced and expanded to be closer to what it was in Gen 1 / Gen 2, rewarding trainers who train the same Pokémon over the long term. – Possibility to curse, strengthen or bless the IVs of your Pokémon in order to minimize or maximize them. All your magical creatures will have a chance to become "Perfect". The nature in battle can also be modified in the same manner as mints. – The hermaphrodite gender for Pokémons and egg groups redone from scratch. – Each Legendary Pokémon will have its own Legendary move and/or Ability, reflecting its divine power over the world. – A craft system with the smithing art. – Double and Triple battles with the possibility of meeting wild Pokémons in pairs or triples (the latter is a horde battle.) – Wild Pokémons that will act as bosses and will be fought in 1 vs. 2. In return, they will be able to call for reinforcements in the manner of the SOS battles in SM/USUM. – Augur Battles will take place in colosseums. (Pokémon matches are the most popular entertainment in Keltios and the public wants to see the show!) No puzzles in these buildings, but the Augurs will give you an Alola Trial-style quest before facing you. – Augur Battles will follow the Gym leaders' rules of the Anime with a battlefield to their advantage and a no item clause. – In-map use of HM moves based on the Pokémon's ability to learn the attack (instead of having it in its moveset) and the presence of Poké Ride. – Completing the three branches of crafting: forging, alchemy and enchanting. (Forging is done, left Alchemy and Enchanting.) – Develop the game in HD with a resolution of 1280x720 and sprites in 192x192 for the Pokémons. My ultimate wish is that these HD sprites are also animated. – A Pokémon League in the form of a Double battle tournament in a sumptuous colosseum. – Replacing PP system with 2 new energy gauges for your Pokémons: Mana and Breath. This will allow more than 4 moves per Pokémon. – 6 tactical options instead of 4 in battle: Attack, Stances, Tactics, Pokémon, Bag and Run. – Ho-Oh's Scepter will allow your character to use magic, including casting O-Power style spells, but also to Mega-Evolve your Pokémons and use the Z-Power. – The Sacred Mega-Evolution! Find the true Mega-Evolution as it is described in the anime: the one that requires a sincere love towards your Pokémon. It will also allow the use of Z-moves. – The possibility of performing Poké-Jobs, a kind of repeatable quest that will allow you to earn money without spilling the blood of your magical creatures. – Integration of Pokémon Contests. The Silvynis family is a lineage that has had several royal ancestors. The latest was Nimue the Pure, Mythical Queen who watched over Keltios a century ago. Going back in the genealogy, it is revealed that the blood of Morgana Harmonia and AZ of Kalos also runs in their veins. Of course, as in any self-respecting Pokémon game, you can choose your character's name. Be aware that if you take the hero, the heroine will become one of your rivals and vice versa. The hero Only son of Brendan and Ygerne, Aranel is a young man of 18 who, after the death of his father, found hope by following the teachings of the Ho-Oh cult. Shy but honest, he has always dreamed of becoming friends with Pokémons. He is very close to his cousin Viviane. The heroine Only daughter of Elowen and Gorlois, Viviane is a young lady of 19 years. Her destiny seems to be linked to Aranel's, for she too saw her father die during the terrible battle of Taranus 11 years ago, the same battle where the Mythical King Oromis lost his Suicune. Like her cousin Aranel, she decided to follow the teachings of the Temple of Ho-Oh. Enthusiastic and determined, she has always been fascinated by the magic of Pokémons. The Pokémon "Professor" Fintan the Wise is the grandfather of Viviane and Aranel, 68 years old at the beginning of the adventure. Lord of Sylvan Town, his manor houses a vast library, his dream being to list all the existing Pokémons in Keltios. Legend has it that he even met Celebi in the Lake of Time when he was 12 years old. When he sees that his grandchild has inherited the Scepter of Ho-Oh, he will entrust him with the Pokégrimoire, an enchanted book that acts as an ancient Pokédex. Gwydion High Priest of Ho-Oh, he plays the role of your mentor during the beginning of the game. Guardian of the Scepter of Phoenix Pokémon, he masters the Sacred Mega-Evolution, but it seems that his artifact attracts dangerous lusts... Kerdus He is the blacksmith and the Lord of Tintignac, the second town in the game. Master in the art of making Pokéballs from Apricorns, he will teach his knowledge to our hero very early in his adventure. (Yes, there will be crafting!) Aerouna Intrepid damsel of the Draconid People and aspiring Dragon Rider, it was she who gave you one of the three dragon eggs she possessed as a reward for your initiation. She will keep you company as your second rival, for she too was entitled to her dragon hatching as the new Priestess of Rayquaza. Sveifla Sveifla is an enigmatic character. The son of a high-ranking person, he used to serve the Cult of Giratina, but was banished after losing control of his Shadow Pokémon. The scar on his face is a testament to this. In revenge, he stole a dragon egg from Duiraco and hatched it, and is now trying to rebuild his career as a trainer. He will cross your path several times and will act as your third rival. AZ - Azoth of his real name Former King of Kalos and master alchemist, his love for Pokémon earned him the trust of Xerneas and Yveltal. But at that time, the Legendaries refused to intervene in human wars, which cost the life of his Floette. Despite the kindness of the two Guardians of Kalos who helped him create the Philosopher's Stone and resurrect his beloved Pokémon, the sovereign succumbed to his dark side by freeing Giratina from the Distortion World. The ultimate weapon was created and ravaged Keltios, ending a 16-year war... but at the cost of his Floette's departure and an unforgivable reputation as a god of destruction in the eyes of the kelts. The only thing he was able to keep was his Philosopher's Stone, which is why he is still living 500 years later, wandering around looking for his redemption. Our heroes will cross his path several times. Unos the Mythical King Successor of Oromis, he is the current Mythical King of Keltios. He is the first mortal to have obtained the allegiance of three Legendaries at the same time, including Arceus himself. Needless to say, with so many divine Pokémons at his side, he is an exceptionally powerful trainer! The equivalent of Gym Leaders, Augurs are the head of each Keltios Cult. Guardians of the wisdom of the Legendary they represent; they will subject you to a Grand Trial (like the Trials of Alola) if you express the desire to them to face them. Succeed in their quest, and they will then give you an appointment in their arena backed by the Temple, coliseums offering very beautiful shows for the inhabitants of their city. These official Keltios League battles will be tough, as Augurs treat their magical creatures with the utmost love, healing items will be forbidden, you won't be able to send more Pokémon than your opponent has, and the arena's terrain will be significantly to their advantage. A small concession, however: you will be allowed to switch Pokémon for free if you knock out one of the Augur's magical creatures, and the Augur will never be allowed to switch voluntarily. In short, it's exactly the official rules of the Gym battles from the Anime. Triumph and you will be rewarded with a Talisman, a badge that will reinforce your authority over your pocket monsters and unlock a quest that will allow you to learn a field move... You'll also notice that their teams won't be monotype, but in the theme of the Legendary that fits them. Sacred Phoenix renews the battle mechanics in depth, offering a new wind on the Pokémon license. If your will is to be surprised and discover everything by yourself, follow the path of Azelf. The scenario will introduce you to these new features gradually. But if you choose the path of Uxie and wish his knowledge, a documentation has been specially written for you. It is available in the "doc" folder of the game. Fintan's library contains many books that can be accessed from the shelves of his manor. For an independent reading of the game, these writings are also available in PDF format. A good majority of the gameplay changes are described there, as well as some of the lore. Pokémon Grimm Early Demo Made with RPG Maker XP and Pokémon Essentials V20.1 Welcome to the Faerie Region! Trainer school is finally over, and you have the whole summer to do whatever you want! Of course, for you and many other trainers, there's only one thing to do in this period: Take on the Pokémon League, and become Faerie's new champion! Naturally, that won't be easy! You must travel through many different places, making friends and meeting new rivals, all the while catching and raising many new Pokémon! And of course, there's that group of ruffians, Team Riot, on the loose... It seems that they have a bone to pick with NW Corp, the new sponsor of the Pokémon League... I wonder what that's all about... -Features- Limited Pokédex: 382 hand-picked Pokémon, from generations 1-9, alongside some new surprises! Old Pokémon, new forms: 50 new regional and ecologically similar Pokémon, including new evolutions! Sidequests: Throughout Faerie, you will meet many people that will give you optional quests, rewarding you with money, TM's, and even exclusive Pokémon! Difficulty modes: If you seek a greater challenge, you can choose to play the game on Challenge Mode, where all trainers have stronger Pokémon, and important trainers receive extra Pokémon and powerful movesets! Configurable Autosave: Every time you enter or leave an area, the game will automatically save for you! If it's not your style, you can turn it off on the options box. Configurable Exp. All: Your Pokémon Exp. gets shared with the whole party, making grinding easier! You can turn it on or off whenever you want! The Exp. Share item is adquired after finishing the Pontypritt Train Station quest, at the beginning of the game. Pokémon everywhere: Wild Pokémon appear on the overworld, and your lead Pokémon follows you outside of its Poké ball! -Screenshots- -About the Demo- The Demo goes up to a little farther than the second gym, until the third rival fight, totaling up to around 2-3 hours of playtime. Originally, the first Demo would go up until the third gym, however, due to the lack of playtesters in my end, I wasn't so sure about the difficulty curve, so I decided to release the Demo earlier as to test the level balancing with a wider audience. Hence the Demo being version 0.5 instead of 1.0. If you have something to say about the game, just say it! Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated! -What's next- After the feedback is taken into account, if everything goes well, a new Demo should be launched in 2025, going up to the third gym as initially planned. After it launches, I probably won't do any more public Demos until the game is finished. -Known Bugs- -Game Download- (V0.5.4) Download -Credits- -Changelog- v0.5.2 v0.5.3 v0.5.4 [/SPOILER]

Spectrobes was a sci-fi monster-battling RPG published by Disney Interactive Studios. Released on the Nintendo DS, the game was praised for successfully combining the monster-collecting genre with its sci-fi tropes, including space travel, planet exploration, and an extraterrestrial foe, while maintaining the JRPG base that supports monster catching. Its primary features included excavating and unearthing fossils of extinct creatures and reawakening them to fight alongside you. These entertaining tropes, combined with unique creature designs, gave Spectrobes its own stage to stand on. The game was considered a commercial success and spawned two sequels, before quietly being dropped by Disney and forgotten about over the years. What the heck is this rom hack? This project aims to recreate the original Spectrobes game, but within Pokemon FireRed. To most of you, this can just be considered a fakemon or un-pokemon rom hack - but not one which follows the standard tropes of Pokemon. While based on FireRed, the uniqueness of Spectrobes means that this project is an entirely new experience than that of mainline Pokemon games. Even if you haven't heard of Spectrobes, if you're a little tired of the Pokemon story formula and are looking for a fresh monster-collecting rom hack, this one aims to please you too! And to the few of you who are already fans of Spectrobes, you can consider this a nostalgia-loving GBA demake of the first game :) Features What the heck is the story (brief intro, no spoilers) What the heck you'll be doing What the heck kinda monsters you'll be collecting What the heck you'll be listening to What the heck kinda core mechanics exist Screenshots Current patch notes Community If you're excited enough follow the development of this project or want to let me know what you'd like added to the game, then please join the Discord Server or my Twitter! They will be the main hubs for the project from now on. Enjoy playing my demo for now :D I hope it succeeds in either giving old Spectrobes fans a shot of nostalgia, or peaks the interest of monster-collectors entering the sci-fi realm with a new story! Professor Finch needs you to help him investigate the open world around his lab, find some powerful birds, and collect their special feathers! If you have the latest version, the titlescreen should say Version 1.1 at the bottom. This game was originally made for the Relic Castle game jam #4, and was spotlighted by the community with its' own badge! Thanks everyone! →Download the game here!← Plot and Features: As a pro Birdkeeper, you have been hired by Professor Finch to help him investigate some bird business. From his lab you need to head out in each direction to find some special birds and collect their feathers! In this game you can expect to find: ›Birds! ›Choose your starter from a pool of options that include different movesets and abilities! ›Hidden/Bonus starter choices! ›Soft resetting for that shiny starter? See it instantly when you start the game! ›So many boss battles ›Fight Boss Birds to unlock the paths to secret boss battles in other areas! ›You can beat the bosses, but they're all able to be captured if you want to challenge yourself! ›Fight those bosses in any order you choose, because this game is open world! ›Find Mini/Optional Bosses! ›What else is in this game? ›Field moves that aren't tied to learning specific HM moves! ›But if you like moves there's tons of TMs to customize your team! ›More characters appear as you play! That means more trainers with stronger Pokemon! ›Optional sidequests! ›Hidden items everywhere Frequently Asked Questions: Q: How do I get the Birdcall Badge? A: Check out the thread about all Relic Castle badges! Basically, if you've played Birdcall enough to have both the Clear Bell and the Tidal Bell, then you can send your save file to a Relic Castle staff member as proof to get the badge! (I can't give badges, please message Relic Castle staff about any questions) Q: Why won't my emulator run this game? What emulator do I need? A: This isn't a hacked game. It's made with RMXP, so no emulator needed! Q: Can I play this on mobile? A: There has been some success playing with JoiPlay, but I haven't tested it myself. There might be some issues... Q: How do I use the Clear Bell and Tidal Bell? A: The Bells were included to mark the halfway and finishing points of the game, and we meant to use them in the postgame. However at the time of writing there's no postgame update, so for now the Bells just hang out in your bag as your proof of completion! Q: Why do I have to play as [x] character? How do I get the other ones? A: The player character's appearance is chosen randomly when starting up! They all play the same and don't have any assigned pronouns/gender/race used by the game. If you prefer a certain one of the four options feel free to soft reset a couple times before starting a save file. Q: What's going on with the starters? A: There's multiple of each species because each one has a chance to be shiny, have an egg move,a hidden ability, or something like that. If you check them out there should be some flavor text to give you a hint. And yes, their stat/movepools have been adjusted a bit for this game. Doduo, Pigey, and Spearrow aren't the only starters though! Q: What's the shiny chance in this game? A: Higher than usual! Starters' chance of being shiny is calculated differently. Q: Where do I go? What order should I go to each area? A: I recommend picking any direction to start, completing that area, and then moving clockwise to the next area. Then you'll get to use your new ability right away...but there's no wrong way to play this open world game! You might enjoy visiting the lab between areas instead of waiting for the end though, the Professor gets really wordy if you save all your feather reports for once. Q: I'm stuck! How do I use the static Feather? A: This answer is a direct spoiler since this is one the more obscure uses of a feather. Sorry for not making it clear enough! Q: What are the cheat codes, the easter eggs, the secret names? A: There are a few names that you can give your player character and affect this game. You may have accidentally discovered one of these names and gotten an extra starter or item because I added a bunch of presents for my friends! Anyway, I'll officially reveal some names that act as cheat codes! Changelogs and Credits:

About the Game Vinemon: Sauce Edition is a Pokémon Fan Game made in RPG Maker XP with the Pokémon Essentials Engine. The game is set in a new Region known as 'Fanoth', which used to be a region that was once believed that no person would or should ever be able to enter. Our goal while developing this game was to create a love note for the Vinesauce Community that we've been in for years. With that in mind, however, the game itself can be enjoyed by people unfamiliar with the community and the jokes/memes around such. As everything fits within the world as if it was always part of it. Vinemon: Sauce Edition, while isn't a challenge hack, is balanced to have every Vinemon be viable in battle with each one fitting into a niche perfect for one's team. We also believed in the idea that if all of them are balanced to be broken then none of them are broken. This has allowed us to create an extremely fun and interesting gameplay all of which can be taken online with the Cable Club. Here are some images to get a gist of your adventure. Note some of these do spoil some moments so click at your own risk: You are Vinny Vinesauce a streamer from Staten Island, New York. On one Sunday night, you planned to play a mysterious game made by your community titled Vinemon: Sauce Edition. The game is loaded up but your house’s power flickers on and off while the internet fully cuts out. Do not presume this was the doing of vineRizon. The power that calls you to this world is far greater than that of those internet providers. As you exit your house you find you aren’t in Statin Island anymore but in a region called “Fanoth”. As you look for answers to why you were brought here you discover that Imakuni was also brought to this world and is now your next-door rival. When you begin to share notes a sudden explosion happens and you both rush outside to see the cause of it. You discover the professor panicked and the only Vinemon he has left for you to use is a Water-Typed Vinemon named Scoot. After being given Scoot and a battle with your rival & friend Imakuni, You are given the VineGear to keep track of quests, manage your PC, and check the map of the region. As you overlook the map you begin to realize this world is strikingly familiar. Yet these places feel completely different from the ones you visited in the past on stream. As you travel the region you will meet many of the characters you’ve created and encountered while streaming. This includes iconic video game mascots, Original Characters (donut steel), Celebrities, Memes, Streamers, YouTubers, and many more! Explore, Battle, and Catch in Vinemon before it’s too late. After all, you still got a Sunday Stream to put on and you can’t leave chat alone unattended. New Abilities Pernio Frost - Can attack while frozen, reduces frozen foe's HP. Sticky Keys - Sticky stuff is launched on sendout. Delivery - Give the opponent your hold item. Nimble - Avoids entry hazards. & more! New Moves Levin Fury - User propels forward at lightning speed! If it misses, the target is burned. Tax Evasion - The user avoids the IRS, raising its evasiveness. Money is earned after battle. Thaw Out - To inflict massive damage, the user thaws itself out, replacing their ICE typing with WATER. Blackhole - The user unleashes a black hole that can't miss, removing own-side stage hazards. & more! New Items Comfy Blanket - The world's comfiest hold item. The Vinemon holding it can't be frozen. Reversal Band - An item to be held by a Vinemon. It swaps the holder's Attack and Defense stats in battle. Boomerang - A held item that is thrown at the end of the turn. It comes back the next turn and damages opponents. Franklin Badge - The bearer reflects all incoming ELECTRIC-type attacks back at the foe. & more!
