Created with: RPG Maker XP & PSDK (Old Version) Team: Elle - Everything except... Leparagon - Pokemon battle sprites Aaron Mesnard - Trainer / Overworld Sprites Jack - Promotional Art CoreyChampion - Music StriderTempxa -Music Story: You play as "Red" if you play as a boy, "Crimson" if you choose to play as a girl or "Garnet", if you pick the non-binary protagonist. After years of boredom up on Mt. Silver, you decide to head back home and re-start the Indigo League challenge, because, why not? As you head on this new adventure, Team Rocket makes its resurgence in the region and you'll ever discover new friends as well! The game takes place in Generation 1 and 2 Kanto rather than 3 and 4 Kanto, so characters and events from FRLG and HGSS are not canon in this project. Features: > Fakemon & New Forms & Expanded Pokedex - There has been a massive shift in the climate of Kanto and so new Convergent Pokemon have been discovered. Likewise, as Kanto has a close relationship with Alola and Johto, expect to find some Pokemon of those regions hiding in the tall grass! > Customization - Gyms will now have a difficulty option, so you can choose a harder fight or something at your level. Additionally, item balls in the overworld have been replaced with item-chests and you will need to choose one of three outcomes to take with you. There is even more to customize, but you will have to find it to learn more! > A Slightly New Kanto - While the layout of Kanto is largely the same, some of the maps and towns are upgraded and different from what you may remember. All the maps are unique, vibrant and detailed, but also hold some new secrets! You will even find some new areas and routes; all to make the game have a new and positive experience. > An Older Age Rating - To make Team Rocket appear more evil, there will be some instances of swearing or threatening. This "edge" is to add a bit more realism and the appearance of danger to the team, where normally there is none. > Dialogue Portraits - Like with all my projects, main story events will be accompanied by custom drawn dialogue arts drawn by myself. > And More! - I'm starting to run out of things to list so we'll leave it at that as I come up with more ideas! New Starter Pokemon Forms! These special forms are from Alola and not much is known about how they came to be other than relating to their environment. Like Pokemon Yellow, you will gradually be able to collect all the starters, as you progress in your adventure. Art by Jack. *The normal version of each starter is not available to obtain.. Screenshots Dev Notes: *Currently the only mature subject matter warning is for a few swear words. *Demo ends at the top of Mt. Silver, for anyone curious. Download Game Here! v0.1.7 Released 9/10/25! Welcome to the celestial land of Tenno! Known for its futuristic technology and advanced space program, the Tenno Region thrives thanks to the ambitions and benevolence of Team Planetary, an organization dedicated to the region's betterment. You start your Pokémon journey in the Tenno Region like many other trainers, but soon you and your childhood friend/rival witness a more sinister side of Team Planetary. They steal property and take Pokémon, all supposedly in the name of saving the region. Can the ends justify the means? As the only witnesses to these heinous acts in a region that idolizes the villains, it’s up to you to stop them while striving to become the Tenno Champion. Blast off on an out-of-this-world journey of astronomical proportions! Pokémon Sol Version is a fan project that aims to create a traditional Pokémon experience using Pokémon Essentials on RPG Maker XP. It is a part of the Cosmic Quest Project, and is technically the "third version" to the hypothetical Luna and Terra Versions. Currently released is a work-in-progress beta test/demo. What's a beta/demo? I explain in detail here. The main campaign is essentially complete and you can play the entire story up until the credits roll, but there is currently no post-game content. That will come in future updates, as discussed here. But, feel free to keep on exploring the region and completing missed optional content until then. Trailers Other Trailers Available Here Features 136 brand-new custom Pokémon (in addition to over 250 returning Pokémon from all generations) New Mega Evolutions New Regional Variants: Tennoan Forms Over 100 new moves and over 50 new abilities for new and old Pokémon alike An entire new region to explore, filled with a variety of unique locations A traditional Pokémon story, including a Pokémon League and evil team An expansive post-game story (Future Update) Light-Type Pokémon New mechanics, such as double abilities, combo-typed moves, and more Challenging boss battles against non-Pokémon entities and powerful Legendary Pokémon The Battle Final Frontier. It's the Battle Frontier, but in space (Future Update) The return of the Pokémon World Tournament, with more characters than ever before (Future Update) And so much more! Check out this link to read a series of articles that goes into behind-the-scenes explanations and examinations of many of the new aspects, features, and mechanics. Screenshots More Screenshots Important Notes This game is in beta and is an unfinished product. While playing, expect to encounter glitches and game crashes. If you do, please report them, as explained in the "Reporting Issues" section below. Due to the chances of encountering a game crash, I recommend saving your game frequently, especially before and after difficult or important battles or after long story events. The game is essentially complete up until the credits roll. That means you can play the entire main story, but there are no post-game elements added yet. Future updates to come. This game is designed to be a traditional and authentic Pokémon experience. It will not contain features common to fan games, such as a speed-up button. This game is designed to play more like the earlier Pokémon games (Gens I through V), rather than the more modern ones. As such, it may require more effort and thought to beat than you might be used to from modern Pokémon games. The game features the classic version of Exp. Share, rather than the modern version which distributes experience among all Pokémon in the party automatically. An Exp. All item, which functions like the modern Exp. Share, does exist in the game, but it is a reward for a side quest that spans the entire region and cannot be obtained until the very end of the game. It is better to think of it as a post-game item. One aspect of real Pokémon games that could not be replicated by this game is interactions with other players. This means it would usually be impossible to evolve Pokémon that require being traded. However, if you want to evolve such a Pokémon, just show a Pokémon that evolves through trade to the woman on the second floor of any Pokémon Center and she'll give you a special item that can evolve these Pokémon instead. Certain aspects of this game may be incompatible with JoiPlay. I have received reports of graphic display issues, random lag, and missing sound effects, all coming from JoiPlay, rather than any specific issue with the game. JoiPlay prevents players from skipping the opening movie. Players using JoiPlay should either delete or rename the folder titled "Movies" within their "Pokémon Sol Version" folder. This will cause the game to automatically skip the movie. This will have to be done every time the game is updated. Download v0.1.7 Here (Updated 9/10/25) No Hotfix Currently Required If you need help getting things working after downloading from this link, see here for instructions. Once you've downloaded the most recent version, apply the the most recent hotfix (if applicable) as explained below. Update Instructions: If you've already downloaded an older version of Sol Version and are looking to update, simply delete your outdated "Pokémon Sol Version" folder and download the current version from the above link. Your save data will transfer over automatically. Hotfix Instructions: If and only if there's a hotfix download link listed below the regular download link, then you'll need to apply the hotfix to Sol Version to play the most up-to-date version. Click the link to download a file called "Game.rgssad" and move that file into your "Pokémon Sol Version" folder. When it asks you if you want to replace the existing file, say yes. Now your game is up to date. You should always try to have to most recent hotfix applied to your game. If you've just installed Sol Version for the first time and a hotfix is available, you should apply the hotfix right away. Reporting Issues As this is a work-in-progress beta build of the game, expect to find glitches and other issues. Please report any issues you come across while playing. You can report them here, or send me an email at CosmicQuestProject@gmail.com. As much information as you can provide on the context of the issue, as well as screenshots if possible, is very helpful. If there's an error message, a picture or copy of the exact message would be of great assistance. The game's error log, with a list of all error messages you've received can be located in your file explorer under Users>[Your Name]>AppData>Roaming>Pokémon Sol Version. AppData is only visible if you first click the "View" tab, and then check the box labeled "Hidden Items." From there, you can copy and paste the exact error message, with the newest errors on the bottom. It is my hope that working together we can remove all of the issues that remain undiscovered in this game and we can move it ever closer to a final release. Known Issues Using Fly while riding a Pokémon with Terrain Trek will result in you continuing to ride the Pokémon after landing at your destination. This can result in unusual behavior when further interacting with Terrain Trek areas. Sometimes when an ability's name displays in battle, it will instead display the name of the Pokémon's other ability. This is a purely visual bug. The proper ability is still activating. Sometimes the game will crash when transitioning from the opening movie to the title screen. If this happens, you can simply relaunch the game and skip the movie to circumvent the crash. A handful of Tenno Pokémon are still a work in progress and do not yet have certain graphics. For a complete list of Pokémon missing some or all of their graphics, see here. Any Mega Evolved Pokémon not listed here is not yet available in the game, even if a Mega Stone is obtainable. The Mega Stone is a placeholder and will not work. Have A Question About Where to Find Something or How to Do Something in the Game? Look Here First Mystery Gift Sol Version has a rotation of Mystery Gift distributions. To learn how to unlock the Mystery Gift feature in Sol Version, see here. The currently running Mystery Gift is a Pumpkaboo to celebrate Halloween. This is currently the only way to obtain Pumpkaboo in Sol Version. Only available until November 3rd, 2025! The Year of Tenno Favorite Tenno Pokémon Quiz! A Lonely Region, Overrun By Monsters Have you heard of the Faedos region? Folks say it used to be a regular archipelago in our world, teeming with people and Pokemon that lived together in harmony. That’s how it used to be, at least. The endless storm that surrounds those islands has led to centuries of isolation. As for the local Pokemon... the friendly critters we’re familiar with have all but vanished, driven into extinction by those feral things they call Faedes. That place certainly has a troubled history thanks to the monsters. There’s no love lost between the island’s inhabitants and those creatures, or the fools that would try to tame them. Some groups, like the Faedos Institute, are trying to heal the divide between people and Faedes. Others, like Team Cyber and Team Mystic, seem intent on dealing with the region’s problems in less legal ways. As an aspiring trainer from The Institute, the spirit of Faedos contacts you the night of your graduation, imploring you to discover and tame every monster on these wild isles - only then will you have the strength to stop the calamity that threatens to wipe Faedos from history. Are you ready to rise to the challenge, chosen one? Pokemon Rifts is a Pokemon fangame developed in RPG Maker XP using Pokemon Essentials v21.1 and various community resources. Credits are available below and alongside the download. If you believe your resources have been used without credit, please reach out to me on Discord. Features A custom region with 100+ Fakemon to catch and battle! Story content up to level 45, with 6 Gyms that can be challenged in any order! Scaling trainers and dangerous wild encounters to complement the open-world style! A strong focus on the 2v2 battle format and challenging (but not kaizo) boss battles! A split storyline for siding with Team Cyber or Team Mystic! A quest system, with 60+ optional missions to complete! Criminal activities that grant extra rewards... as long as you don’t get caught! A Fakemon material system to craft TMs and items, make money, and finish quests! New moves and abilities, and balance changes to existing ones! Updated mechanical systems from newer generations, like Snow and Frostbite! Held items that replenish after every battle! A Tainted Candy item to manage team levels and prevent feral disobedience! Enhanced Summary and Pokedex screens to help you find and train every Fakemon! Custom egg groups and egg sprites, and an egg gacha to get any Fakemon early! A new shiny hunting system! A toggle for game speed on Q! A postgame for building and testing competitive teams! Extensive documentation on Fakemon, balance changes, trainers, encounter tables, egg rates, and more! Important Notes This game is still in development and is an unfinished project. You may encounter bugs while playing. Please report any bugs to this thread and/or in the #bug-reports channel of the Pokemon Rifts discord. Due to the possibility of crashes, saving frequently is recommended. The game features an Exp All item that grants experience to the entire team. This item can be turned off from the bag. While this game is a far cry from a challenge hack, it is intended to provide some resistance in a casual playthrough. Boss battles can be beaten in challenge runs with good strategy, but are balanced in a casual run around the use of items. Players continuing from a save on a 1.x patch should update their game while their save is inside the Post Zone. An NPC in the bottom left of the Post Zone map will offer to set your game data back to the end of 1.x story, allowing you to start the 2.0 content. Leaving the Post Zone from a 1.x file normally will cause issues with the game experience. Players continuing from a save on a 1.x patch are encouraged to find both of “Ellie Mentarie’s Secret Caches”, in Shoreset Town and Smogsten City before upgrading to 2.0. Players that do not obtain these before starting 2.0 may find themselves unable to complete the Ellie Mentarie side mission and will miss a hint for a secret post-game mode. Miragea needs you! As a rookie member of the Trainer Union, it’s your mission to help people, protect Pokémon, and safeguard the natural world. Climb the ranks from 1 to 6, but be careful: not all your fellow Union members are on your side. While Union Leader John wrestles with a growing number of missing person cases, Poachers lurk in each area, exploiting Pokémon for profit whenever they can. FEATURES: Story-driven gameplay based on your Union Rank (no Gyms, but Rank Battles!) Custom character portraits to bring emotional cutscenes to life Simplified Hidden Base with customizable furniture – and a few surprises to discover! Mega Evolution available later on Exploration-first design: optional routes, secrets, and side content Unlock new, free-roam areas as you climb the ranks: forests, beaches, haunted mansions, fairy woods, deserts, snowy mountains, and more Custom battle backgrounds for many locations Balanced difficulty: challenging but fair, without endless grinding No wild battle music - except for boss fights A few, optional Fakemon Most weak Pokémon are useful now! IMPORTANT: If you have any errors, don't comment "Game glitches, pls help" - explain what happens, when it happens, if it's the first time you start the game, send a screenshot, or else I can't help you! NOTES: This is my first major project! I'm still learning a lot and would love any bug reports, feedback about the characters, or general impressions! 🌟 How's the difficulty? Who did you like the most and who made the most problems? How's the level-curve? You can play till reaching rank 3 in this demo. Be careful and save a lot, in case you encounter any bugs that crash the game! Tried my best to fix them with one other person playtesting, but it's impossible to find them all ;w; You also can explore the third area a bit if you like to, "Crimson Area". Though it's unfinished, there aren't any NPCs yet! Thanks so much for checking it out! c: DOWNLOAD: View: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EJ0rpMcVdkqz_Cgkt1hBVO2sQ2LdhGOK/view?usp=sharing

Welcome to Verdan Academy, a prestigious institution nestled deep within the Aldana region—where tradition, ambition, and mystery collide. You’re one of the few students selected to join this year’s class, each member assigned to a dorm that shapes their path. Fate places you in Fennel Wing, the underdog dorm known more for misfits than prodigies. But as you'll soon discover, this year will be anything but ordinary. Meet unforgettable classmates, build friendships, rivalries, and uncover strange rumors surrounding ancient ruins hidden throughout the campus grounds. With exploration programs reinstated after a mysterious suspension, something long buried begins to stir once more. What secrets lie beneath the surface of Aldana? And why does it feel like you're being watched? Your journey at Verdan Academy is about to begin—but not every lesson comes from a textbook. (Some features are still a WIP) School Life Simulation You live the life of a student at Verdan Academy, forming relationships, attending events, and exploring the world beyond campus. Interactions with other students (like Lara, Rei, Nina) affect story direction through an affinity system. Narrative-Driven Progression A branching storyline filled with secrets, ancient ruins, tension between factions, and moral choices. Dialogue and event outcomes can change based on earlier choices, making the story reactive and immersive. Enhanced Battle System Battles are visually impressive thanks to Elite Battle: DX, with animated intros, battle UI upgrades. Exploration & Side Quests Explore areas like the Whispering Ruins, Glintgrove Way, and Mantia Island, each with its own story hooks and encounter tables. Side quests flesh out characters and the world, including ruin investigations and hidden truths about Pokémon and the factions. Relationship & Reputation System Helping or ignoring characters affects your affinity with them, influencing both story and dialogue in subtle and meaningful ways. This project was originally created for the InsertName Game Jam of 2025. Thank you to all the coordinators and players who made the event possible!

Story: A place further away from Azure Bay at the Kalos region, it contains several islands that are combined to become the Sylph Islands, which houses mostly Fairy-type Pokemon and Pokemon from the Fairy Egg Group. Yancy just received a mysterious invitation to Sylph Islands after a couple unfortunate events of her life, and that might just help her wind down and take a vacation to uplift her spirits. But she might get more than she bargained for, as she embarks on an adventure after she encountered a friend nicknamed Sally and help fulfill her quest to restore the power of the elements. Ocassionally, you'll cross paths with an organization called Team Archfairies, with the only leader, Ivoch. They, too, seek to acquire the same elements that Yancy and Sally are holding. Whether purpose they have to steal those elements remain to be seen at the moment. During this quest, Yancy and Sally will encounter each Eeveelution, which will challenge them as their "trial battles". They serve to guard the temple but will let them pass if Yancy manages to clear those battles. Those will be hard, so she'll need all the power she can get! Sylph Islands currently has 9 badges with a level cap of 55 and the main story is finished. Features: -Pixie City is a "sandbox mode" in which the player will have access to almost everything such as powerful items, move tutors, relearner, name rater, nature changer, and EV training rooms. However, the prize money received from trainers will be extremely low. -The Sylph Islands Pokedex - with a dex cut that makes Sword & Shield Pokedex seem larger in comparison - contains over 120 Pokemon! -Thanks to DemIce, persistent weather and inspecting element are enabled: -----Inspecting Element is for viewing the stats and other aspects of a battle from both your and/or your opponent's Pokémon before you select a move. Pressing the S button will get you to view from one of the selected targets. -----Persistent Weather makes it so that the weather will return to what it once was (the initial weather took over again). So, if the weather was rainy in the first place, and you change it to hail, sand, or sun, it'll last for a specific duration, and after that will revert back to rain weather. -Field effects from the archaic Rejuvenation V10.2 (with a bit of modifications due to Gen VIII/IX stuff) and one new field called Speed World that is based on an emphasis on speed! Logo is a WIP Welcome to Ayrei The Ayrei Region, a landmass split into four different quadrants. Each with their own people and Pokemon every moment of your adventure has something new in store. This is not the full planned region, only what's currently available in 4.0 No Gyms, No Elite Four In Project Vanguard, the role of the Pokemon Trainer is no longer to collect gym badges and become the champion. Instead, Trainers protect the region from criminal organizations, aggressive wild Pokemon, and whatever other conflicts come their way. As a brand new Trainer, you'll enroll in the Vanguard Academy, a school dedicated to teaching the next generations of Pokemon wielders. As you rise through the ranks, you'll face new challenges, meet new friends, and of course, uncover your mysteries past. Oh, that's right, you. An individual who's awoken in this region with no memory of who they were before. With no where else to go, you join your newfound friend, and become a Pokemon Trainer. New Regional Forms In the region of Ayrei, you'll encounter a total of over 300 new regional forms, evolutions to existing Pokemon, and even completely new ones. With thousands of hours of work from both our artists and balancers, each one will be fun to play with and offer a useful role in your team. A Brand New World To Explore The region of Ayrei is built with exploration in mind. On your journey across it, you'll not just find trainers to battle, but also den's home to rare Pokemon, treasures guarded by powerful opponents, and a lot of optional areas you'll miss if you don't look hard enough. Defined Difficulty Modes Vanguard has three difficulty modes for your choose from. Each one with hand crafted teams for every important boss trainer. No matter what type of player you are, one of these modes should offer an engaging experience. Quality of Life While we still want Vanguard to feel like an proper adventure, we of course cut down on a lot of the tedious tasks you'd find yourself stuck with in other games. This includes the removal of EV training, as points can now be allocated at any time from the summary screen, and other Pokemon customization items now being easily purchasable. Additional Features Old Gym Leaders return as cosplayers ("super fans") for you to battle with new teams! Most route Trainers are optional (progress at your own pace!) Non-Binary protagonist option 28 Starters (22 of whom are Regional Variants!) Advanced Pokedex that displays the stats and learnsets of every seen Pokemon EXP all (right after picking your starter) Infinite Repel (right after picking your starter) Canon Pokemon up to generation 9 Fast travel between towns Download Goes up to chapter 35, around 36-38 hours of playtime The discord https://discord.gg/sr24E8keRs Why join the discord? Pokémon Hyperborean Souls You wake up in an unfamiliar place. Bystanders affirm having seen you fall from the sky. In the far North, an imposing mountain takes over the horizon, its peak barely visible over the clouds. "Maybe this is the way back home." Download Version 0.5.0 (Latest) Disclaimers This game is currently incomplete, with no set completion date. This game is currently partially untranslated, using English for the base engine and Spanish for all dialogue and custom content. Aspirations Light Story I aim to make a primarily exploration-focused game with cool gameplay mechanics. Story content will come after that and will be given shape by the exploration and gameplay and not vice versa. Heavy Exploration Very intricate maps with a lot of branching paths and secrets to find. B3313 style. To accomodate such a style, Fly will be unlocked very early, with even Routes having Fly destinations. An NPC that tells you where to go if you're lost will also be always available. Casual Difficulty with Deep Optional Systems I want to make an easy game while also making some crazy battle scenarios. I am currently still trying to balance this. Any feedback regarding game difficulty is highly appreciated. Pokémon Realities Kit Used: Essentials V20.1 (Planning to Update to 21.1) Game Summary Pokémon Realities is a fan made Pokémon game that heavily dives into the idea of the multiverse. Throughout the game, the player will travel through 6 different lands that make up the Kessho Region, each with their own unique traditions and cultures collecting 18 gym badges and preparing to challenge the Pokémon league. Early on in the player's journey, they end up running into a mysterious group known as team horizon who are looking to reassemble something called the reality crystal. This crystal was said to have the power to create any wish imaginable back in the ancient times. Now throughout their journey, the player attempts to stop team Horizon from achieving their goals while meeting many friends, allies, enemies, and Pokémon along the way. Features you'll see in V1 Gen 3 RSE Style Game Very Large Pokedéx with 1000+ Pokémon available to capture Field Effects (Like from Reborn, Reju, Deso, Etc) Level Caps QoL upgrades (PokéMart & PokéCenter combined into one New Regional Variants New Custom UI's Side Quests Content up to the 5th gym avaliable (gym 5 out of 18) Spoiler Free Story Outline The Kessho Region is home to a crystal known as the reality crystal. This crystal was said to be a gift from the gods for humanity to use to grow and prosper. One day a wish was made to bring prosperity and expansion to the region, and the wish was granted. However, due to the great magnitude of the wish, a great calamity struck the region, expanding it into 6 different islands with each having origins from their own realties. After such a massive wish was made, the crystal exploded and shattered itself into tiny shards, scattering itself until it could fully restore its power. In the present day, all 6 lands have come together, stemming from the primitive age, medieval age, modern age, and even ages of flying cars and magic! However, as of recent years, an organization has been on the move for the crystal shards, what are their goals? Perhaps it to create a new world using the crystal's power, or the destruction of life itself... For people who are interested in keeping up-to-date with the project or even becoming apart of the project, please join our discord server and check out my recruitment post on Eevee Expo! If a battle doesn't go in your favour, or the journey is just too harsh, the Nurse Joys and their strange machine are there to make sure the game goes on unhindered. Being able to take a Pokemon from battered and bruised to stable seems like magic. Still, it's a magic that no-one really questions. But even magic had to be invented at some point. Some people in the Pokemon world today were alive when the machine didn't exist. ...And some nurse Joy, right at the bottom of the Pokemon world, had to be the last to get it. The year is 198X. A team of top-class scientists (and one nurse) from across the globe are anxiously waiting for the storm to end. They're one of the few to work in Antaxius 'overwinter' - it's the last region to be discovered by man, an icy waste where the nights are a month long. Once the weather finally clears, an icebreaker ship can make it to the mainland and deliver valuable equipment. Among the cargo is the Re:Vive - a machine that promises to magically heal any Pokemon, and any ailment. Resident nurse Aida has been working here for 20 years, and out of all the miracle cures she's seen, this one could be for real. She knows it'll change the field of Pokemon care forever, and possibly the rest of the world. No more panic, no more stress, no more death, even. But how will she spend the last week before that change happens, knowing things can't and shouldn't go back? The Last Nurse Joy won't have traditional Pokemon gameplay (mostly) - instead, it's more of a slow-paced puzzle game. Each patient will have an ailment that needs to be treated - but unlike vets in our world, a Nurse Joy has to deal with over eight hundred different kinds of pets. Most of the puzzle lies in finding out what the issue is, or getting a finicky patient to co-operate with you! ~Take your patient's temperature, measure their heartbeat, or even X-Ray them at the blue observation desk. ~Have a look at their anatomy, or find out if Ice-Types can catch a cold at the green diagnosis bookshelf. ~Pick up everything you'll need to treat, feed, or comfort your patient at the red treatment table! ~If you're completely stuck, try the hint chair. ~You can get a lot out of just observing your Pokemon, and more importantly - you can pet all of them. Once that's done, talk to Chansey to lock in your treatment, and see if your judgement was right... Depending on how well you've done your job, you can get a Bronze, Silver, or a Gold ranking. There are 6 cases total in the game (with bonus cases potentially being added in the future once the judging is done. I'll keep you updated on that.) How many extra steps you took to make sure the Pokemon was happy, if you even succeeded in treating the Pokemon; all of that determines your rank, and...eventually, the ending you get. Oh - and digging a little deeper into the where, why, and how of your patient's injury could lead to something special, but you'll have to find that yourself. Note: this game depicts animal injury and distress in a semi-realistic way. Main Game Resource Pack Credits Text File MAIN TEAM: AnonAlpaca - Lead Dev (Lead Dev???) for the game. TechSkylander - Provided three custom scripts for the game - Drawers, Scoring, and a Medical Summary - and also bugtested most of the game. (Go check out those scripts, they should be linked on this page when they post them!) Pantastic - Sprited some Pokemon, then both designed and sprited both Dr. Clementine and Dr. Garcia, who, she would like to clarify, is "the best character." AceTrainerAvery - Made fogs, a few cutscenes, and composed some original music tracks for the game! Aida's theme is a certified hood classic. Firstly... I'll put a Content Warning for some blood, cuts, bruising, injury on cases 1&6. It's nothing gory, but if you don't want to see that, I totally understand. Secondly... Thirdly... If you want to talk more about this game, then you can join a (temporary) Discord server dedicated to it. It's a tiny bit barren at the moment since I kind of forgot to maintain it amongst all the stress of the jam game, but here's the invite anyway. If you want to contact me personally - if there's any issues with crediting, if I need to include anything else on this thread, then feel free to reply, and we can continue our conversation in Discord DMs. Lastly... This is my first time being a lead dev as opposed to a lead spriter, and while there were a lot of growing pains involved and a lot of mistakes I undoubtedly made, I'm still immensely happy that I could put out a complete story, and thankful for everyone that helped make this happen. I hope the Last Nurse Joy...brings you joy?

NOW IN OPEN BETA Download Link (MediaFire) | Discord Server Pokémon: Kanto Reloaded is a non-profit fan remake of the original Red/Blue (or more specifically FireRed/LeafGreen), created in Pokémon Essentials v20.1, with updated mechanics, extra maps, and a massively expanded roster of Pokémon, wrapped in a pseudo-random presentation to make no two playthroughs exactly the same. If you’ve played a Kanto game before, it’s a near-guarantee that you’ve faced down Brock with a Mankey and your starter, after wading through hordes of Caterpie and Weedle in Viridian Forest. Perhaps you chose Bulbasaur for the type advantage over the first three gyms. And you’ve definitely braced yourself for an onslaught of Zubat in Mt. Moon. That predictability is what Reloaded seeks to eliminate, instead presenting you with a game in which you’ll never quite know what’s around each corner - and in which every single playthrough is unique. You’ll still get all that nostalgic Gen 1 goodness (in GBA graphics style), but you might run into Starly, Wurmple, and Weedle in the Forest, while another player is catching Pidgey, Blipbug, and Scatterbug, and while yet another sees Pikipek, Weedle, and Caterpie (and so on). Trainers and Gym Leaders are similarly randomized: any one of 18 different Leaders might call Pewter City their home! Traditional randomizers are fun in their own right, but they often destroy the difficulty curve when you can pick up, for example, a Snorlax on Route 1. Here, you’ll still go from catching birds and bugs early to encountering sea monsters late, preserving the game’s natural arc. But rather than a set roster of Pokémon species available to you, the ‘mons you come across will be a unique combination of creatures that fit each route. Each Reload aims to present you with a different experience while still retaining the feel and the spirit of the familiar game we all know and love. Kanto Reloaded uses remixed/remastered music tracks. If you would prefer the original GBA & DS music, download this file and follow the instructions in the readme. ***** Features Randomized wild Pokémon encounters in each playthrough! Essentially, each wild Pokémon “slot” features one Pokémon randomly selected from a set list, which is rolled upon starting a new game and then stays constant, resulting in quite literally millions of possible combinations while retaining the overall curve of the game. You’ll always find a bird and a critter on Route 1, but which ones they’ll be is anyone’s guess. Every non-legendary Pokémon through Gen IX is potentially available, but only ~250 will be catchable in any one game. (Semi-)Random trainers with (semi-)random teams! Trainers are no longer completely static, but will appear and disappear from routes based on a hidden variable that will change as you play the game. There is no VS Seeker or phone, so each can still only be challenged once, even if they appear to “reset,” but the world will feel a bit more alive as they rotate in and out. In addition, each individual trainer will randomly choose their team from a hand-crafted set of Pokémon, no longer limited by region or generation. Mystery Gyms and a new Elite Four! A grand total of 18 Gym Leaders are programmed into the game, one for each Pokémon type. Seven of these will be randomly selected to populate the first seven Gyms (Giovanni, for story purposes, will always be the 8th Leader - though he’s been given a type-neutral team to compensate). To complement this, you’ll also face some combination of 8 different, custom Elite Four members, each of which follows a theme instead of a single type, so you’d better come prepared with a versatile team of your own! Each Leader will scale based on when they appear - Brock won’t just be using Geodude and Onix if he’s running Cinnabar Island - and all Gym Leaders, as well as your Rival, are subject to the same pseudo-random team selection as regular trainers. A revamped Kanto with new areas to explore! All maps have been recreated from scratch; some have only minor variations from their official counterparts, but others have undergone major redesigns. In addition, expect to see a couple of completely new areas of Kanto along the way, including the snowy top of Mt. Moon and the swampy Fuschia Moor. The story has also been expanded upon: you’ll take part in a series of events loosely following the canon of the Kanto region. Mewtwo has escaped from Team Rocket, and has a terrible plan to retaliate against his tormentors. A race between Oak, Giovanni, and Mewtwo to capture the three legendary birds ensues, and provides the backdrop for your journey through the region. Following Pokémon, Gameplay Modes, and other QoL Adjustments! Your Pokémon will follow you around outside of its Pokéball, just like in HeartGold/SoulSilver. You'll also have the option to play in different modes, like Double Battles, Level Cap, and Limited (where you can only use as many Pokémon as your opponent). HMs are replaced with new "Pokémon Techs" (and an unlockable Fast Travel system to replace Fly), TMs can be duplicated at PokéMarts, and breeding has been replaced with a much more accessible "cloning" system. This is all on top of multiple save files, a speed-up switch, Unreal Time, and a whole host of other balance changes! ***** Additional Notes & Screenshots ***** What's included in the Beta? The game is fully playable up through Gym 4, including a brand-new story segment in the relocated and updated Power Plant. There are currently only 8 Gym Leaders programmed in (Brock, Misty, Falkner, Erika, Bugsy, Lt. Surge, Whitney, and Morty), but the randomizer will work on those eight. More may be added as the Beta progresses. Other than minor details, such as item locations or Pokémon spawns, which are subject to change at any time, the game should essentially be in a finished state for every area you have access to. I plan on updating the game in play order, finishing each map and story beat in sequence, allowing saves to be continued seamlessly throughout the Beta. Please note that updates are infrequent since I am currently the only one working on this project; I have a strong desire to see it through to completion, but it's a hobby I do in my free time, and it won’t happen overnight. To update the game: Simply extract (or copy/paste) the new download into the same directory as the original. Replace all files if asked. Your saved games are stored elsewhere, so they will not be overwritten. Download Link (MediaFire) | Discord Server *****

About Welcome to the Jela region, the largest island of an archipelago southwest of Hoenn. Jela is bisected by a volcanic mountain chain that prevents precise navigation at large distances. Only professionals are allowed to Fly, Teleport, Dig and the like. Regular everyday trainers have to rely on their services or their own two feet to explore the vast region. Jela is realized in this game on an unusual scale. While there are cities, they are much more city-sized, and they are not the only points of civilization across the region. Routes are dotted with small villages, each with someone in need of assistance and a gate leading to some secret behind the village. Your adventure in Jela won't follow any one large overarching plot. Rather, you will meet people along the way that each have their own story to tell, sometimes intersecting in surprising ways. And the people you meet on your journey might not be the same people someone else meets on their own journey in Jela. Features nearly all battles are double battles pokemon battles drop items used for crafting, this completely replaces the normal economy regional dex includes selected Pokemon from generations 1-6 new custom developed battle mechanics like the Frostbite status and Snow weather massive routes with myriad paths pokedex tasks to complete to increase shiny encounter rate 5 major NPC side story paths with many more planned time of day affects pokemon encounters, trainer battles, and more in-depth legendary hunting system will test your knowledge of Pokemon and the Jela region currently 2 gyms with around 8-15 hours of play depending on how much exploring and side content you do eventual plans for 8 gyms you can complete in any order Download v0.3.2 of September 29, 2024 Credits

Pokémon The New Order About the Fan Game Pokémon The New Order is an RPG XP Game that I've been developing since April 2020, probably due to boredom but most likely because I've always wanted to try and create my own Pokémon game! The game is a fangame made in RPG Maker XP and in no way do I receive any profit or monetary compensation for it. I have made this game under fair use laws and do not intend to breach those. The game takes place in the Fabelle region, a brand-new place with lots of new challenges to take on! However, the game is inspired by colonelsalt's Team Rocket Edition ROM Hack. That means the gameplay will take an unexpected turn. This isn't your usual Pokémon game with you being a child completing your dream as a champion... The Plot You finally make your dream come true. Through your contacts, you manage to join the infamous Team Cipher, the dominant mafia group in the whole region of Fabelle! Complete numerous missions and climb up the ranks to fulfill your very own destiny! Develop bonds with your teammates! Fight off other villainous groups to reach the top! Discover the dark side of Fabellian history and all the secrets the government has been keeping away from the public eye! Screenshots GIFs (outdated) Features The whole new region of Fabelle! Many new locations to explore and many new trainers to battle! Gen. VI Pokémon While it may not be anything too new anymore, Fairy Type and Gen VI Pokémon are included in the game. A unique, branching story Play the game, while making choices that branch the game, changing the story as you progress, and determining how the characters see you. Gen 3 style map The whole game gives off a nostalgic vibe from the old gen 3 Mechanics and abilities up to Gen 9 With Gen 9 Pokémon come their abilities! Miscelanous features that improve the gameplay More features, like HMs for items, reusable TMs, nature changers, an item updating your current objective and more... It is through a rather unusual series of events that you find yourself wrapped up in a conspiracy involving the beloved "Baker's Dozen"! Will you save the region from chaos? Will you uncover the secrets of the Honnis Region? Will you beat 8 gyms and the Pokémon League in the process? ...Probably. The Honnis Region The Honnis region is a sprawling and diverse land filled with countless different Pokémon and cities filled with all kinds of interesting people and places. Though it contains countless secrets of its own, its most interesting feature is undoubtedly the Honnis Underground, a vast network of cave systems containing hundreds of Pokémon that cannot be found anywhere else in the region. Pokémon within it are more active than their surface counterparts, and there are some individuals that have demonstrated unusual amounts of strength and aggression. It is said that the Pokémon within have the mysterious property of 'scaling' to the strength of your party! Features Treat Traits Special abilities granted upon consuming specific items, Traits come in a wide variety of effects that can be granted to any Pokémon! Grants varying stat boosts depending on a species' strength, allowing even weaker Pokémon to keep up with their evolved counterparts While a Pokémon possesses a Trait, it loses the ability to evolve via level-up, requiring it to be evolved through the party menu. Through the use of the EZ-Oven and some recipes, you can even craft your own Pokétreats at any time! New Forms and Evolutions The Honnis region contains an utterly massive amount of Pokémon, and depending on what part of the region you are in, some species will even take on entirely new forms. It appears that some Pokémon even possess entirely new evolutions. Yet what are the mysteries surrounding this mysterious 'Flux Stone'? New Moves and Abilities, and Rebalances Freeze has been changed to Frostbite, as seen in Legends Arceus Certain 'weaker' moves and abilities have had their effects strengthened in some form Many Pokémon have had their learnsets expanded, and certain species that lacked secondary or hidden abilities have now gained them There are also a variety of brand new moves, items, and abilities! Various QOL Touches NPCs that allow you to fast travel between previously visited towns and areas All trainer battles can be forfeited, rather than requiring a loss TMs can now be taught directly from the summary screen (and even in PC boxes) instead of requiring you to manually sift through your bag. Sun Dust and Moon Dust, held items that let you make time-based evolutions at any time Marks can also be acquired through defeating wild Pokémon instead of being limited to newly captured Pokémon HMs can now be used just by having them in your inventory IVs and EVs are visible on the summary screen Pokémon with hidden abilities have a 10% chance of appearing in the wild Egg Moves can now be taught at any Pokémon Center (costs Heart Scales) 'Shards', items that allow you to boost a Pokémon's IVs Happiness-based evolutions have a much more lenient threshold The PC-Link, a rechargeable machine that lets you heal and use the PC from anywhere.
