TRAILER

The Trailer for the game. Here you can see it in motion!

FEATURES
112 Fakemon are introduced within this region, including new Legendaries. They are fully realized, with egg groups and egg moves, new dex entries, cries, shiny forms, etc.

Existing Pokémon are supported up to Sword and Shield. The complete Pokédex numbers 441 Pokémon in the Fabio Region.

The Fabio Region is a fully realized region with plenty to explore, both before and after the credits roll.

This game has a custom-made soundtrack, and every song that isn’t a remix from the official series was made especially for the Fabio region.

While it uses a generation 3 art style, the graphics have been tweaked to give Fabio its own visual identity. All of the overworld NPCs and trainers have new looks as well.

The Type Effectiveness chart has been tweaked.
Nothing major has been changed, but certain types that are known for being particularly strong or weak have been nerfed or buffed accordingly. Don’t worry, there’s virtually no learning curve, as most changes are fairly inconsequential! The most major ones are Bug beats Fairy, Grass beats Electric, Electric beats Steel, and Poison beats Water.

Choose between getting the EXP. ALL immediately (EASY), the EXP. SHARE later (MEDIUM), or no EXP. item at all (HARD). This is the difficulty selection of the game. The game was balanced around Medium difficulty, and care was taken to make it so that grinding is virtually never necessary in this game.

Universal PC access
is unlocked within the Pokégear just after the second Gym. The Pokégear also includes a Type Matchup quiz (also accessible in the Trainers’ School), an option to call up certain characters who will tell you new information about the world based on your story progression, and a story progression guide that tells you what to do next.

Plenty of documentation is provided in the game folder.
Included with the game are

-New Evolution methods (As well as updated Trade evolution methods for existing Pokémon)
-Encounter rates for every map with encounters, listed between Common, Uncommon, and Rare
-A Fabinian Pokémon Guide, which lists all stats, abilities, and evolution levels
-A complete, numbered Pokédex file
-A guide on where to get Key items, Evolution items, and HMs
-A list of known bugs in the version
-Additional credits for things like sound effects
-Nuzlocke information, featuring things like level caps for the Gym Leaders and Elite Four/Champion
-A postgame content guide which lists every event there is to do after the credits
-A TM/HM list, which can be searched with CTRL-F to find out which Pokémon is compatible with which TM/HM
-The main story of the game seems to take about 10 to 15 hours to complete on average. There is still plenty to do after the credits. Catch legendaries, find sidequests, explore new areas, and rematch important trainers!

KNOWN BUGS THAT WE DON'T YET KNOW HOW TO FIX

If anyone can provide any advice on how to fix these issues, it would be greatly appreciated.
Known bugs that are being worked on can be found in the "known bugs as of this version" document in the Google Drive.
---
Using Evolution items to evolve a Pokémon can sometimes cause the game to freeze a few seconds after fading back in. Always save right before using any evolution item to evolve a Pokémon.
---
(SPOILERS FOR MAIN STORY)

Certain Double Battles seem to sometimes crash the game upon ending. The main culprits are Player + Acutia VS Agate + Grunt on Route 5,
and Player + Topaz VS Chaital in Alexandria City. It seems inconsistent whether they do or do not crash.
When it crashes, it shows this error message: https://imgur.com/R6M3v81
We have a suspicion that this may be related to priority in battle. Quick Attack features in both battles, and the Chai battle features a Custap berry.
The Quick Claw also seemed to toss out errors in the past.
(SPOILERS END)

Major error has softlocked me in the Chaital Fight.

I have to reboot the game, but don't know how much I'm gonna lose since this has been a string of ~3 cutscenes and battles with Wendell's family.

Edit: Issue seems to be something to do with a 'PrimordialWeather' I presume to be unique to that final Pokemon of his.

I am still quite enjoying the game, yes! Some of the fakemon are hit-or-miss design wise, but in terms of gameplay, story, mapping, Pokemon selection - it's all pretty great.

Seems as though Pagodia Meadow and Mine are intended to be Postgame areas, but I can access them with Strength at Badge 6 with no issues. The trainers here are in the high 50s so I can't walk past some of them without a rough fight, but I was able to catch the legendary(?) in the Mine with no issue. Not sure if this is intended, but the path was blocked by two Rock Smash Rocks and Two Boulders. One boulder can be moved to enter without needing Rock Smash, which I know is given at Victory Road, so I'm presuming that wasn't intentional so I'm noting it here if you want to address it.
We're working on several new sprites, they may not be public for a while, but they're being worked on, so we hope that they will help people enjoy the fakemon more.

MOST of Pagodia Meadow is meant to be a postgame area-I forgot to block off the rest of it with another rock smash rock, whoops.
The legendary in the mine is indeed meant to be catchable during the main story for players who bother to go that far off the beaten path during the main story.

Yikes, sorry about that. I'll put a save option just before the fight to account for this in future, just in case.

The other developer was the one who made the coding of the Pokemon, so I'll bring this to them and see what they can figure out.

Edit: They said the bug was familiar.
This same error seems to happen sometimes after the double battle alongside Acutia against Agate on Route 5.
I'm afraid this is another one that we don't totally know how to fix, but we will look into it. Thanks for being so proactive with your bug reporting.

Hey, found another bug! This one is with Harinko Help. Before the climax of the story really kicks off, you're suggested to go to the entrance of Megaro City and meet with your friends. Thing is, it's not just Fixx and Debney there, but Wesley. I chose to talk to Wesley first, and this kicked off an unavoidable cutscene that flew me to his house to fight his family and get that story beat flashback.

When I go back to Megaro, Debney and Fixx are no longer there, and the story has progressed. I thought nothing of it, since things continued as normal - except, Harinko Help is now broken and stuck on the suggestion of meeting friends at the entrance of Megaro. It has been through several story beats now, and I have just beaten the big bad, and still, the Help option is stuck.

It seems that this was a required event that I have managed to sequence break by talking to the wrong familiar NPC first - whatever scene awaited me with those two in Megaro is lost, but doesn't seem to have impacted gameplay much aside from Help being broken. Relatively minor thing this late into the story, but hopefully this is detailed enough to be able to put in a fix for others!

EDIT: As a quick request - could we have a small document detailing where certain NPCs are, such as the Move Reminder? I'm actually not sure where it is, and it isn't tracked on the map.`

I think we've gotten that fixed now. Thanks for your diligence so far! Don't worry, it was just a short cutscene that showed a bit more of their emotions toward you at that time in the story.

As for that document, it's a great idea and has been added to the Google Drive.

I cannot seem to get Galarian Slowpoke to evolve - the Galarica Items are held, but leveling up while holding them doesn't trigger an evolution with each. The official games don't have a level prerequisite, so I don't know if that was changed here.
