This was really cool! I liked the alternate forms, and now I wanna play all the endings

...
After beating it, I x'd out of the credits, and now the game won't launch. Might just be a wine + macos thing, idk. I might need to redownload it. Felt like I should mention it though in case it's a bug!

what a bummer! I receiveed a comment of the game continuing after the credits when it shouuldn't, but not this. I'll have to investigate ^^

Just finished playing, you already know all my thoughts, but just writing it here anyway

I enjoyed it a lot, there was a lot of cool stuff. New weather, new regional forms, new fakemon! The new eeveelution was awesome! And I liked the environments. The main thing that I think would really improve this game a lot is more care put into the pokemon gameplay. There is a lot of potential with the different weather on every floor, all the new forms, but in the end the gameplay just boils down to using knock off or quick attack. Without XP all and the ability to change your party order, Rockruff quickly becomes useless. And you don't have any control over your moveset except for the 1 level up move that the player is likely to see. None of this plays into the weather gimmick of the game, and none of this makes the eeveelutions feel powerful since you're stuck with the same moveset, and unless you choose Umbreon, you won't have any stab moves.

But yeah that's it, I thought there were a lot of cool ideas, just that more work with the gameplay would've brought out some of the potential more. Keep up the great work Starwolf, love your games!

it's not a game you play on 3ds or any kind of emulator. On your computer just extract the files and run the "game.exe"

Hi, I'm wondering... How do you evolve the feral eevee you play as because I've got the Sun, Moon, Water and Thunder Stone but whenever I try to use the items it says Not Able

Am I missing something pr experiencing a bug?

Great game, I just find sad that when I really got into the game it ended so quickly, I would love to know if you plan to make a longer version of this game or if this is the final version

Soo after I played this very short but intresting game I come up with pros and cons and other intresting things that caught my eye (ofc SPOILER WARNING)

Pros
-intresting story (lacks deapth but thats comes from shortness of the game)
-cool reg forms like riolu and murkrow (very sad that I cant get them on my team but if would be great if insted of "catching" we could recruit them like in pokemon md series)
Cons
-the mountain that we climb is doesn't have any logic like why the hell its sand storming and then next floor its freaking lava everythere (diffrent types of terreain reminded me of the cake that has too much layers that doesn't mix together)

-Short (duh but its like too short I beat this game in like an hour without even going too fast)

-main "rival" or "villain" Mightyena (she doen't pose a threat like at all after psychic type floor and just doesn't say anything if we won or lost to her except the pre-final and final battle)

-story yes its intresting but it ends on nothing like ok we beat the final boss that doesn't even hard or use her minions againts us and thats it? It even more strange since after that our friend and parnter rockruff just evolved out of nothere?? Also what is point going for the Sky rock if we didn't even got to see it or use it (Correction we can see it and use it but only if we don't go to save our parnter)
-strange interactions with Rockruff only two of them actualy strange the first is campfire one and secound is the human one. The campfire is strange cuz after he lights it up somehow (I actually still don't undertsand how the four-legged rock type managed to light up the campfire but anyways) it doesnt' have ANY interactions with it we don't sit around it or anything we just walk away and that it (I thought we would talk to each other about our backstories or smth but no just go in to next floor). The secound is human. I understand that after eevee has been abounded by his family, he would fear humans but human just enters next floor and DISSAPEARS literally and doesn't show up AT ALL (I thought maybe some zorroarks or dittos trying to appear as humans but no there ARE NO dittos or zorroarks at all, so that interaction is really strange)
-You cant look or change your pkmn positions (its really annoying trying to lvl up your partner only to waste one more turn to switch back to yourself)
Itresting finds and some bugs
-Your partner ALWAYS at your back even if your'e going near a wall and turn behind it he'll be in the wall (which is underwelming cuz I played some pokemon fan games on the rpg maker that has a way better following pokemon mechanic
-After my first loss the Rockruff just dissapeard for some time but after the first mid floor safe space (there we fall assleep) he magically reappeard like nothing happend
-The invisible bag. (Not like it doesn't exists but more like the story doesn't tell WHERE do we store our goodies) I mean it would be great if some sort of storage would be explaind by the fact we found some old used bug and started using as ours (like in pokemon md but more old and crappy)

All and all its great potential for a beautfull game but it needs a LOT of work and pollishing.
(btw sorry for bad english cuz its my second language)

I remade the game and I will post after the jam is over, but the lenght is still the same

Im on a chromebook and I cant find a way to play the game, I have Linux and chrome OS and I have the game downloaded but I don't know where to go </3
