Hello, I have some problems. When I add a new Badge in PBS/Badges and an image of the same name in Unobtained nothing happens... How can I change the maximum number of badges. Also, when I change the order of the badges in PBS/badges nothing happens. Finally, I want to change the size of the window but there is a black screen that hides the map. There must be something I am not doing correctly... I am French and I am not very good at English.

Every change of a PBS file must be compiled. You can do it manually from the Debug Menu/Files Options/Compile Data.
About the window size, I didn't get you. Can you send a screenshot and explain more?

Could it be possible to set up multiple 'pages' for the badge case? I like the auto resizing, but I'd like to have all my badges visible at regular resolution to avoid mixels. And separating them by region on pages could be useful.

Love the plugin and correct me if I'm wrong or if I'm using an outdated version and the issue has been fixed, so.. when saving, the normal amount of badges get displayed as a number, but when loading the game/starting it up, the number is always 0, this seems to be caused by the plugin. Is there a way to fix this?

I've changed the "badge_count" function to count the badges from my plugin.
Maybe that's a version from before I changed it?
Are you perhaps using a different load screen? Can you send the load screen code?

I've updated it now, but the problem still persists. Even on a new save. It's weird, because while saving, the correct amount of badges are displayed, but when I'm closing the game and reloading it, it slways shows a 0.
I haven't altered the load screen at all.

Not sure if I can say this here, but the Data folder is missing in the file, causing the game to crash when I try to access the Badge Case menu. When I extract the folder, it only contains the PBS, Graphics and Plugins folders.

Are you sure you didn't forget to include the Data folder in the file?

I didn't put the data file intentionally. I thought you would change your PBS file into your wanted badges and then compile it.

Fixing it better

Made the following changes:

• Add an option for regions. All you need to do is add "Region = XXX" (XXX = Region Name) into your badge PBS file. You can see an example in the given PBS file including Kanto-Sinnoh badges.
• Fixed the loading problem (the load screen didn't show badge count)

I did a fresh installation of the plugin, also started a new save and all, but now when starting up the game, there is no number of badges displayed anymore, the number is just gone :(
Also the game is crashing when receiving a badge, but I'm still testing it out, this may be a problem on my end.

Can you screenshot the error message?
Also, yes, I forgot to initialize the badge_count into 0, so it starts to save the number from 1. I'll upload the fix after I'll fix the other problem.

Ah I see haha, that would be neat!
Maybe the error is also related to this, I could try giving myself the second badge if the first one is not taken into account, right?

I have set up the Config as such:
(basically, all options TRUE, and rows and columns to 4x4), but until the player earns a badge, the case shows an empty case as such:


Once you get a badge though, it works as it should

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Hi! I'm loving this plugin so far, but there are a few things that I can't quite figure out. The first is with the "Obtained At" option. Is there a way to simply remove this row from the table? I'm using the Unreal Time plugin so my game's days and years and everything don't line up, so whenever I pick up a badge it just shows that it was obtained 2 January 2000 because that's what my game thinks it is when I test getting a badge, and I'd rather remove the row entirely than switch it to the correct time. My other question is about regions, and for this I might just be missing something with how default Essentials works. I've set my game to be in a new region called Kamyuz. When I pull up the Town Map it shows Kamyuz in the top so I know it's seeing the region, but then when I try to assign the Johto badges to Kamyuz in the PBS the badge case is still showing me the Kanto badges even though Kanto isn't even defined as a region anywhere else to my knowledge. How can I fix these issues?

Edit: I was able to get the time display to show the actual date the badge was obtained instead of the fake date from Unreal Time, but I'm still struggling with the region functionality. I've fixed it for my current project by just naming every badge Kanto and deleting the others from the list, but I would still like to get this figured out for future projects. I saw that there was possible work being done on having multiple pages, this would also be a great thing to have!

Another edit: SHINY FIX:
This is a simple solution without variability, but it works. If anyone is having the issue with it always showing the shiny sprites, the fix is super simple. Just add the following line of code into two places inside of Badgecase_UI.rb:

@sprites["acepokemon"].shiny = false

The first is after line 106, which is
@sprites["acepokemon"] = PokemonSpeciesIconSprite.new(nil,@viewport)

The second place to add it is after that same line of code in another spot, which should now be line 144. The reason this is limited is because it makes it so either every sprite is shiny or every sprite is not without being able to use shiny sprites for some and normal sprites for others, but if you don't care about that or don't have any shiny aces, this will work perfectly.
