Games in Development

Projects that are just works-in-progress belong here. Make sure you can include at least four different screenshots before posting in this forum section!

Project Archive

Threads with demos (or without any releases) that become inactive are moved here to rest. You can message a staff member to reinstate your thread at anytime.
The Rules and Regulations applies to this forum. Please give these a read before posting. When Posting a Project in Games in Development While "Completed Games" is for completed games, and "Released Games" is for games with releases (like demos), this section is all for works in progress. If your project is still in development and can fulfill the requirements below, then you can post here! Once you have a playable release, you can message a staff member to move your thread up to "Released Games" or "Completed Games." Threads must be approved by a staff member before they're public. If we do not approve your thread within 48 hours, you will receive a message from us with what is missing from the rules as listed below. If we do not hear from you after that, your thread will be deleted and not make it to public view. If you believe it did meet the requirements, or the requirements do not adequately apply to your projects, please get in touch with a staff member. The following are the requirements for your thread to be approved. Each thread must have a clear project description, and must state what engine and/or kit, if any, is being used. For instance, "RPG Maker XP," "Godot," or "Pokémon Essentials." Each thread must have a plot outline. Include a small write up or summary of your plot and or backstory. Try for a paragraph at least. It doesn't have to include spoilers or in-depth plot details, but try to capture people's interest. This may not always be applicable, as not all projects have a plot. Each thread must have a list of unique features. Include any features in your game that you believe will make it stand out from other projects, preferably in a list instead of a block of text. They don't have to be ground-breaking. Commonly used resources are not unique features, and generic statements like "new characters" do not count. Each thread must have at least four screenshots that are unique to your project and tell us something about what your project entails. As such, generic screenshots, such as an unmodified Pokémon Essentials screenshot, do not count towards this threshold. Make sure they're fairly different from one another. We don't want four screenshots of one area of your game or just of your interfaces. Each thread must credit the creators of all assets they did not create themselves. This includes credits for your engine/kit. All individuals in a kit or resource's credits must be included. Be absolutely positive that you're giving the full and correct credit when using public resources, and make sure to list any team members you might have working on the game. We take credits very seriously. Not crediting someone for something they created is considered content theft and is a very serious offense. No thread may use URL shorteners to share images, patch notes, game files or other miscellaneous file, or host any files directly on the Eevee Expo forums. Considering file-sharing websites for this, such as Mediafire or MEGA. You may not use URL shorteners for this. Some important things to note regarding credits... If you aren't sure the proper credits for something you're using, do some searching to find out who made it. If you for some reason can't find out who made it, you shouldn't be using that resource. If you're using Pokémon Essentials, Luka's Elite Battle System, or some other widely used resource: be sure to credit them as well. Just because they're well known doesn't mean you don't have to credit them. If we find that you are using (private) resources without the author's permission and or without credit, there will be repercussions. This is considered content theft, and your project will be taken down. We will then require proof that you have permission, or to talk to the author ourselves. If you notice your content is being used against your wishes or you're not being credited for your work, please contact a staff member. We'll work with you and the offending project to make sure proper credit is given or the project will be removed from the forums. Posting in General The following things should be kept in mind when posting in a project thread: Project feedback is highly encouraged; if you see something in a project that you feel needs improvement, point that out, but be respectful about it. Keep in mind that it's ultimately the developer's project and it's their vision for the project. Not all posts have to be feedback; you can talk about how much you like the game (make sure to say what you like about it), ask questions about it, or talk about it in general! A project developer (usually) loves nothing more than people discussing what's going on in the game. Spam The following types of posts are considered spam and will be deleted. If you notice a post breaking this rule, please report it and move on. Posts asking for a release date. Posts asking for a download link. Posts asking if the game is finished. Posts asking if they can be a game tester, unless stated by the project author that they're looking for testers. Posts with little to no substance: (eg. "I like your game, it's cool!") Tell us why you like the game! Double posting. Please edit your post instead of double posting. If you're the thread author, you may double post if you have some new content to share.

Made in Pokémon Essentials and RPG Maker XP Synopsis: Unbeknownst to the researchers, one of the test group Tyranitars had undergone an unforeseen transformation due to a newly developed variant of the Pokerus virus, the Tyranitar's power had been amplified to unimaginable heights, and its temperament had become volatile and unpredictable. In a sudden and violent outburst, the Tyranitar broke free from its confinement. In the aftermath, a wave of illness swept through the region, turning people and Pokémon into zombies, while some surviving Pokémon became extremely aggressive versions of themselves post-infection. The region was plunged into chaos, in a world forever changed by the Pokerus outbreak. The vibes I'm going for is basically Pokemon Snakewood and Pokemon Reborn blended together into an edgy slop ( I really enjoy edgy(ish) Pokemon fangames ) Features: New type ( Rabid ) QOLs Choice Matters Reputation System Multiple endings Player deaths/game overs if skill check fails/wrong choices made Scarce resources/Crafting ( Will have to craft items like Pokeballs as finding them will be tricky ) New Pokemon variants, evolutions, and Fakemon Multi Save

Hi everyone who's reading this post. I'm DuuFan, kind of new around here. For the last year, I have been working on a fan game that blends the structure of a Pokémon game with elements of a school life simulator. The main idea is that the player enters an elite academy and navigates their time there however they choose, in a semi-open world with a fair amount of freedom of action. Instead of simulating "dates" like other similar games, this project focuses on simulating broader interpersonal relationships: friendships, rivalries, strained bonds, distances, etc. The player decides how to behave with each character, with branching dialogues and mild or direct consequences depending on the case. It's not a linear game, nor does it have a single large campaign. The idea is for the player to create their own path, with multiple events triggered by time, relationships with NPCs, or by attending (or not) certain activities. It's heavily inspired by a fan game I played in 2012, Pokémon Academy Life, although this project's direction is looser, less romantic, and has a more mature tone. I'm in the prototyping and world building phase, and it would be very helpful to receive feedback on the overall idea, the relationship approach, and how you see it compared to other fan games. Pokémon Elite (The name isn't really defined yet.) You’ve won a scholarship to the most prestigious school in the region: Lumiare Academy, where some of the most legendary Pokémon trainers once studied. You're one of the lucky few who got in without paying a cent, though that might just become a reason for others to look down on you. Explore the vast grounds of the Academy, interact with students from all walks of life, and get involved with the many clubs and activities the school has to offer. This game is meant to feel like the bastard child of Pokémon Academy Life and a mainline Game Freak title: here, getting along with other trainers can be just as tough as winning a battle. Talk to people. Get to know them. Decide how to treat them, and deal with how they treat you. Build friendships or rivalries. Venture into the surrounding forests and caves, and discover the wide variety of Pokémon that bring each area to life. Core Features & Systems: (Credits at the end of the post) Pokémon Essentials by Flameguru, Poccil (Peter O.) & Maruno Starter Selection System. Inspired by the intro of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. At the beginning of the game, the player answers a short series of questions. Based on their responses, the game generates a set of three starter options pulled from the full pool of official starters (up to Gen 9). Unreal Time System - by FL. The game features its own in-game clock. Different events happen at different times of day and days of the week. An Energy System I made myself. This is my first attempt at scripting a plugin. It forces the player to sleep and prevents them from "binging" the whole game in a single in-game day. It will be polished and possibly shared later as a public resource. Modern Quest System - by ThatWelshOne_,mej71,derFischae,Marin. Since the game is intended to be somewhat open-world, quests will be everywhere. I plan to add tons of side quests, where you can lose track of time while earning battle items or even special Pokémon. Deep Classes System. Some of the class-related scripts are my own. Classes are not mandatory for story progression, but they offer rewards and progression for those who attend. Each class tracks individual variables: attendance, participation, performance. You can skip them, but you’ll miss out on useful knowledge and experience. There are eight classes, both practical and theoretical. Covering EVs, IVs, breeding, battle strategy, item usage, and even Pokémon lore. Additionally, there’s one special class focused on a single elemental type, chosen by the player. Once completed, you can switch to a new one. (This is a nod to the original visual novel.) Clubs and extracurricular activities. Currently implemented (with interactions and quests): Pokémon Nursing Club, Theater Club, Archaeology Club, Fight Club. Planned: Pokémon Breeding Club, Ranger Club. Elite Battle: DX - by Luka S.J. and many others. Includes enhanced battle intros, boss fights, scripted battles, and a little surprise saved for the first playable release. Following Pokémon EX - by Nononever, and many others. Because we all want our buddy tagging along. Mega-Evolutions. Fully functional and also with a little surprise saved for the first playable release. Tip Cards - by wrigty12. Used in tutorials and theoretical classes. Instant Messages - by wrigty12. Helps build relationships with other students and teachers. Spontaneous messages, reply options, and more. Automatic Level Scaling - by Benitex, Joltik, Umbreon. Essential to make the open world feel natural and avoid pacing issues in team progression. Item Crafting UI Plus - by ThatWelshOne_, Vendily. Crafting plays a big role in student life. From healing items to more questionable substances, you'll be able to combine materials and create unique items. Lin's Weather System - by LinKazamine, Zaldar, Swdfm. Certain Pokémon will only appear during specific conditions. Social Links - by wrigty12. Relationships evolve slowly, change over time, and don’t follow a fixed path. Your choices, timing, and consistency matter. Don’t expect everyone to like you, or stay liking you. Berry Pots by Caruban. Yes, there’s farming. Yes, you can grow weed. Yes, there’s a blunt crafting system. It’s all optional, but part of the student culture for those who want to dive into it. Arcky’s Poke Market by Arcky. A flexible market system that fuels the student economy. Different kinds of vendors pop up. Club-related, seasonal, sketchy, or just convenient. The game is in Spanish actually, because it started as a smaller project, but after the time I put on this, I am more than willing to translate it manually and keep working in English if it is well received. Note: I didn´t give the full credit list because is not the actual Game Post yet. I am not sure if it works this way. Media: The questions in the Intro. That will determinate which starter pokémon of each type you can have. / Voltseon's Pause Menu with the Energy Bar integrated on it. / Iv´s & Ev´s screen. Warning message for low energy. "Your body is asking for a break." - "You feel like you can't hold on much longer." - "You're on the verge of collapse, you need to sleep." Finally, you will end up fainting, and your Pokémon take you back to your bed. You awake several hours later, and with only 85% of your total Energy. Manage your sleep hours. EBDX Battle System. Animated Sprites. Dynamic Backgrounds (Morning, Day, Evening and Night.) Lumiare Academy Vs Tons of custom Trainer Sprites, ergo, tons of Characters to befriend or to become enemies. That’s pretty much it for now. I’m still working through the early stages, but I’d love to hear what you think, whether it’s about the systems, the tone, mechanics, ideas or anything that doesn’t make sense. Thanks for reading if you got this far, and I hope the idea at least sounded interesting. Maybe i will upload more media later.

- Made with Essentials 20.1 - Disclaimer: This project has no affiliation with Pokémon Snakewood made by Cutlerine and it's but a tribute to the original work, it intends in no way or form to replace it but to build upon and expand. Hoenn has been invaded by a zombie plague! Revive the experience of the iconic 2010 ROM Hack by Cutlerine once again as you are the younger sibling of Brendan, who woke up without memory on a devastated region, trying to find the whereabouts of their brother and the origin of the zombie outbreak with the help of Professor Birch while meeting an almost unrecognizable Hoenn, facing zombies, new characters and uncharacteristic humor! Features Update for the zombie Pokémon: Many zombie Pokémon are available for the player from the previous only two, furthermore many have also been added from many media such as XtraSnakewood, Snakewood DX, RetroNC's video and our own zombies! Furthermore you can only catch one using a previously unused item, the Necro Ball. Zombie Pokémon are powerful but be careful with your choices as Necro Balls are hard to come by. High Difficulty: For those who want a challenge, the game has a considerably higher difficulty that was carefully worked to be as fair and competitive as possible, both with trainer battles and a few AI tweaks (Vanilla mode also available! Hopefully more fair than the original game, I think). A new type, Plague: Derived from the original Disease-type of Pokémon Snakewood (renamed due to UI issues), its main feature is that they do more damage, but are unable to switch (might change in the future)! Plague is also followed by a new weather, Soot. Pokémon rebalancing: While there are still power differences between Pokémon and some are mostly a second thought after the early game, we've made sure that even if it's specific niche, every single one of our >360 Pokémon have something unique to them, while not bloating the game nor deviating much from the original version. Lack of grinding: EVs and IVs have been removed, furthermore DemICE's EXP gain system enables for a fast and smooth level curve without requiring level caps (considerable increase/decrease in EXP based on the level difference between the opponent. The game has been adjusted accordingly to all those features. You're encouraged to have a lot of Pokémon early! Increased exploration: While not required, the player is often rewarded for not going on a straight line, maybe check that rock or behind the tree, a surprise may wait for you! Ability changes: Giving love to some irrelevant abilities, Stall now skips every other turn, Sand Veil increases Defense during Sandstorm while Damp sets Water Sport on entry! Graphic overhaul: Most original Fakémon and characters have been redesigned in order to have a more modern look while trying to retain the silly core Snakewood essence, not everything was redesigned though, some familiar faces are unchanged and have (hopefully) just received a higher quality sprite. Limited resources: (SUBJECT TO CHANGE) One complain of the original Snakewood was how it didn't feel enough like a dystopian scenario. Your decisions matter, use your consumables wisely. New stuff: As mentioned before, Stygian Snakewood gives it a more modern look to the original game and such adds countless new features such as QoL, physical/special split, Fairy-type, new Zombies, new evolutions for some regular and fake Pokémon and Pokémon that weren't previously available in the original game. And as a bonus, certain unused Pokémon like Demoneon, Toxeon, Crazymadio and Zombified have sprites, regional forms have been added that kinda fit the game i know regional forms are overdone at this point but it wasn't me that came up with them and they look good so take it and a few secrets! Screenshots may not reflect upon the final release, the title screen is a placeholder Disclaimer: Credits might not reflect the final version and are subject to change. If any of the current features or screenshots shown contain any stuff that you believe it's yours and has no credit, please contact ASAP me on Discord #aaleven.

Features A regional dex containing 374 handpicked Pokémon up to generation 9. Completely customisable difficulty and gameplay settings; level caps, little cup, or simply more exp., tailor the game to your wants and needs anytime. Share your Trainer with other players to appear in their game to battle or chat. Ability to send gift Pokémon to other players. Take pictures of you and your party and edit them using frames, effects, weather, etc. A Game Corner featuring a variety of mini-games such as jump rope, a trivia quiz or even a good ol’ card game. Many different Battle Facilities, including a tournament and roguelike colosseum. Built-in Speed Up. Quick Save, Auto Save and Multiple Save Slots. Remappable controls. A focus on capturing the feeling of the main series games, especially the DS-era. Rebalance Changes Many Pokémon have received changes to their stats, typing and abilities. There is a healthy balance between popular fan-made changes as well as our own. Type chart changes; Bug- and Ice-types have received buffs to let them keep up with other types. Certain abilities have had their effect changed to be more useful, such as Swarm now always being active. Certain items have had their effect changed; most Poké Balls are now more straightforward to use or offer different effects. Many evolutions now take place at a more reasonable level or had their method changed; any trade evolutions either require only their respective item or a Linking Cord. Freeze has been changed to work like Frostbite from Legends Arceus. Quality of Life Changes No need to teach HMs. Field moves, like Surf, Rock Smash, Dig and Fly, can be used without taking up a move slot. All Trainer battles can be forfeited, and running from wild battles will always succeed. IVs and EVs are visible on the summary screen. All your difficulty settings are visible on the back of your Trainer Card. The Advancepedia, an unlockable add-on for the Pokédex, will give you detailed information on any caught Pokémon such as stats, moves or weaknesses. The DexNav lets you easily search for a specific encounter, with the ability to also search for hidden abilities or with higher shiny odds. A Day-Care that lets you find eggs with specific qualities, like specific gender, hidden abilities or better IVs. Stat changes are visibly displayed during battle. Move effectiveness can be displayed during battle to see how effective your moves are against the opponent. ... And a lot more to make your life much easier. Plot Welcome to the Solaria region, a region with rich history and a vast and varied landscape. You'll be exploring grassy plains, mystical forests, ruined wastelands, towns of forever fall, magical swamps and much more. In ancient history, the region was ruled by the Solar King and Sunne Hero. That age has long passed, but their influence can still be felt; it is believed that the cosmic energy of the Sunne Hero still flows through Solaria to this day, influencing the region and granting its Pokémon enhanced strength. You are a graduate from Gardenia Academy. Having graduated at the top of your class, you have been honourably chosen as a Gym Challenger to partake in the region's traditional Gym Challenge. Your goal is to obtain all 8 Gym Badges and become the region's prestigious Solar Monarch. Giltbert is your childhood friend, classmate and fellow Gym Challenger. He has a strong positive attitude and is always willing to aid the people around him. Diana is another Gym Challenger and the top student of your rival class. She is a bit distant, has a no-nonsense attitude and is serious about her ambitions of becoming the next Solar Monarch. As Gym Challenger, many people will be eager to lend you their support, including Sol Inc.—known informally as Team Sol. They are an organisation dedicated to helping the Pokémon of Solaria awaken their power. Screenshots Development Details Pokémon Solar Eclipse is a Pokémon fangame developed in RPG Maker XP using the Pokémon Essentials v19.1 starter kit and MKXP. This game started development in 2022 by two friends wanting to make something based on an old RP group we had. We originally only wanted to entertain our friends, but now we hope to deliver a fun and polished experience that captures the same joy we have for this series. Currently there are no plans to release a public demo and we will instead release the full game when it is complete. We’d highly appreciate people willing to playtest and provide feedback; if you’re interested then feel free to send a message! Welcome to Six Stars! Six Stars is a fangame that takes place in the Kirstria region, a region based on Slovenia and Croatia, two countries near and dear to my heart. The game will take a deep dive into the local culture, the traditions, the ecology, biomes, history and landmarks of these two countries. Though the war for independence in those countries which took place only a couple decades ago is integral to the story and setting, no blood or explicit violence is depicted. The game is meant to be a tribute to the Generation 5 games, and is meant to be played as if it were a real pokémon game that could exist in a different timeline. Assets used are from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 The story of Six Stars is centered around a race for the legendary fakemon of Kirstria, the Six Comets, following decades after a war with a neighboring region. The war was won, and although the region has recovered, remnants still remain: machines made in the image of pokémon, which were at the forefront of the war, have since been disbanded and wander the land. A new organization seeks to use these machines to capture the Six Comets and take over the region. The main attraction of this game, however, is that I'm building a game engine specifically made for it, following Gen 5's 2.5D style. I'm not writing it in Godot, I'm not writing it in Unreal Engine, I'm making it in C++ and using the open-source Raylib library as an API for OpenGL. Everything available in the original pokémon games, except for multiplayer aspects, will be available. The game will feature more dynamic use of the camera, more specific sound design and shader functionality. After release, the game files will be available to anyone who wishes to mod the game or use the engine for their own project. Models ripped from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, edited by me Bloom Shader effect in action Unique features: Pokémon from up to generation 9 Over 160 new fakemon, including regional variants and convergent evolutions 2.5D overworld, with shaders Triple battles will be fully supported Easy Mode, Normal Mode and Challenge Mode difficulty levels Fully animated fakemon sprites for all available pokémon Entirely custom and heavily moddable engine, of course The development updates will mostly go through on my socials, which you can find on my profile: https://eeveeexpo.com/members/30422/ As of posting this, 23 fakemon have already been posted publicly, and every week a new one is posted.

Hello, everyone! As the title has already given indication of, I am currently developing a Super Smash Bros. fan game in Unity. This project is a celebration of video games and their characters from the era of the Nintendo 64 and earlier. The hope of this fan game is to have a roster of 30+ characters and at least as many stages, with gameplay reminiscent of the mainline Super Smash Bros. titles and visuals that evoke a sense of nostalgia (if you enjoy the Nintendo 64 visual style, that is). You might be saying to yourself, "Jester, that's far too much for one person to handle! How in the world do you plan to make that happen?" The answer is simple: One step at a time. Though I have big goals for this project, I keep my eyes on fulfilling what I know needs to be done for the next build of the game (or at the moment, the first build). I've made checklists of everything that needs to be done for the current in-progress version of the game, and I work on checking those off. Once I finish that list, it's time to release the build and make a list for the next build. Rinse and repeat until the game is done. Will it take a while? Absolutely. But by keeping realistic goals for each release version, I am certain I can eventually complete this game. Version 0.0.1a is already well underway, with all of the models needed for the build already completed (and showcased below), well over half of the necessary textures and materials finished and implemented, a number of animations from a sizable list done (honestly, this is the part of this project that has and will continue to require the greatest amount of work), and a solid chunk of the necessary scripting already written out. A few things to note: - Smash Retro is not a ROMhack or Mod of any existing Super Smash Bros. game. It is a fan game built with Unity game development software completely from scratch. Every 3D model was made by hand, one vertex at a time, and every texture drawn similarly, one pixel at a time. The goal of this fangame is not to "outshine" any official SSB game, nor to recreate the exact experience to be had in any of those games. Rather, the goal is for this project to be both a learning experience for myself and something fun for fans to enjoy. The roster size will be kept to something I am comfortable with being capable of creating, with the target being roughly 30-35 characters. If I feel other characters would be feasible, I may extend the roster to a larger size, but should not exceed 50-60 characters at most. To further keep my options to a more reasonable pool, and to keep to the concept hinted at in the title of the project, the characters represented in the roster will be restricted to those who originated in a video game that was released prior to September 2001 (the month that the Nintendo Gamecube released). I am not restricting the options to exclusively Nintendo characters, though that will be where the majority of characters originate from. The roster is not yet finalized, as part of the inclusion of characters is dependent on my ability to write the code relating to those characters. Characters who have extensive and complicated gimmicks (such as Ice Climbers) may prove to be too much of a challenge, and may be cut from the roster if I feel I cannot reasonably recreate their functionality. I am willing to listen to suggestions for character inclusions, provided those suggestions fall within the above criteria I have set for the project above. Stages and music will also follow similar criteria, though I have been somewhat less organized with those goals at this point in the project. If you would like to suggest a character(s), I ask that you please check this list before requesting, as there are 90+ characters already up for consideration, and your suggestion may be among them. Characters highlighted in blue are currently in the project, those highlighted in green are currently most likely to be included in the future, those highlighted in yellow have a moderate chance at inclusion, and those highlighted in red have a low (but still nonzero) chance at inclusion. (Please note that based on the above roster size limitation that not all characters on this list can make it into the final project.) The project is not ready for release just yet, as I still have a number of animations to make and I still have to complete a few scripts. I hope to have at least an early release sooner than later, but game dev can be unpredictable (especially seeing as I am a solo dev building this game in my spare time), so I will update this post when I feel I can more confidently predict a release date. Goals for the Version 0.0.1a Release 4 Playable Characters (Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu) 8 to 12 Palette Swaps per character 1 to 2 Playable Stages (Battlefield, Final Destination) Items will not be included in this build (Exception: Link's Bomb) One Play Mode and Rules Set (VS Mode, Stock Elimination) Basic, Unleveled CPU Controller ***Physics may not be finalized in this build Now for showing a bit more of the fun stuff... CHARACTERS STAGES CREDITS If you're interested in helping with this project, or if you'd like more moment-to-moment updates, feel free to check out my Discord Server, where you will find this project among other projects by myself and other server members.

Hello everyone! I'm TotallyNostalgic, and I'm new to this scene. I've been planning this game for years with excel charts and photoshop, but I only recently started working on it using Pokemon Essentials 21.1 and RPG Maker. I am aiming to make a remake of Diamond and Pearl that plays similarly to HeartGold, SoulSilver, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire. Additionally, I am including elements from the anime and manga. There is currently no demo release but I am working on releasing a small demo in either July or August of 2025. I will update this post with more screenshots as I continue to develop the game. Alongside it's release, I will also upload two game guides with details on all the changes I've made and where to find items and events. One guide is meant to be a mock official guide book and the other guide will be a long text document with charts. Project Scope & Game Philosophy After BDSP released, I was a bit disappointed (which is my own fault for setting such specific expectations). No hate to any of the official games, but I waited long enough and wanted to experience what I craved from a Sinnoh experience. Players can either interact with all the new features and postgame or they can play with minimal changes and play the tried-and-true formula of 8 badges and becoming champion. Pokémon Temporal Diamond & Celestial Pearl are meant to feel like an actual Pokémon game. While battling is the main feature, I wanted to flesh out the world so the player could feel like they are actually in the world of Pokémon. That's why I've included side quests, camping, bigger locations, player housing, expanded contests, seasons, more minigames, etc. It also means I will not be including features like infinite rare candies, PC storage in the menu, and EV and IV manipulation in the menu. You will still be able to manipulate EVs and find plenty of rare candies around the map, but just not as easily/frequent. The plot will remain mostly the same from the original games. However, there will be some added anime influence and Platinum storyline features. Features Platinum Episode Like the Delta Episode in ORAS, the Platinum Episode will introduce Giratina and the distortion world. It will start after beating the Elite 4 and Cynthia. Screenshots Disclaimer: Most screenshots are of unfinished graphics/features and will be updated in the near future. The same applies to credits as features get added. Credits

Bluesky: @pkmnshsm.bsky.social Tumblr: @pkmnshsm Plot Summary Pokémon: Sharp and Smooth is a fangame that takes place in the original Hinoa region, which is (sorta) based off of California! A few years ago the Champion of Hinoa disappeared, and ever since, less and less people have been taking on the Gym Challenge. However, you and your friend Emilia are determined to be the first in a while to defeat all the gyms. Characters It's you! It's your rival and friend, Emilia! Energetic and friendly, she's hopeful to be able to beat all the gyms in Hinoa. Oh, that's Alden. While he's pretty smart with Pokémon battles, he also seems pretty arrogant. Kayda...? As the professor's assistant, she's been tasked to help you with your journey. Pokémon The Hinoa region is full of many new Pokémon, all designed by me. My goal while making them was to make them feel authentic while still having a bit of myself in them. But it's not just new Pokémon, there's a couple Hinoan forms too! The Hinoa region has changed a lot because of Humans, so it's no wonder some Pokémon did too. Screenshots Unique Features A focus on feeling authentic to the main series games A focus on the story and characters of the Hinoa region 100-something new Pokémon designed by me 19 new regional variants for old Pokémon a couple new Mega Evolutions for old Pokémon Project Details & Credits This is a fangame being made through Pokémon Essentials and RPG Maker XP. It started originally as me just designing Fakemon when I was bored, but a friend asked me if I was going to make it into a fangame one day. I eventually bit the bullet, and here we are today. While a lot of this project was made by me, the rest of it is public resources. Without them, Pokémon: Sharp and Smooth could never exist. There's also a few people who I think helped a bit with designs or gameplay decisions, so they're credited too!
