Get ready to explore the Toku Region!
It's not every day that you get to celebrate your 10th Birthday, but in the Toku Region turning 10 means you can officially become a Pokaiju Trainer! Starting your journey in Satsu Town you will receive your first Pokaiju from Prof. Yamane. The professor will offer you a singular choice between the Grass Type Budollante, the Fire Type Toto, or the Water Type Little Godzilla. Through your journey you will discover a mysterious power and reach a point where you uncover the truth of the Toku Region's ancient history.
Unique Features:
Pokaiju: The biggest unique feature of the game are the Pokaiju themselves! Each one is based on a creature from Godzilla, Gamera, Ultraman, or other related Tokusatsu and monster movies, shows, and comics. There are currently over 80 Pokaiju that can be caught with even more being encountered... with many more to come in future releases!
Unique Battle Gimmick: During the Demo you will encounter a strange phenomena happening to Pokaiju, causing them to become enraged and achieve a stronger form with increased stats!
New Type: In the Toku Region there exists the Light Type! This type replaces the Fairy Type from official Pokémon games and currently behaves similar in the Type Chart. This is planned to change in the future to be more unique.
-Super Effective against: Fighting, Dragon, Dark Types
-Not Very Effecting against: Poison, Steel, Fire, Ice Types
-Weak against: Poison, Dark Types
-Resistant against: Fighting Types
-Immune against: Dragon Types
-Not Very Effecting against: Poison, Steel, Fire, Ice Types
-Weak against: Poison, Dark Types
-Resistant against: Fighting Types
-Immune against: Dragon Types
New Moves: Several new moves have been added including Plasma Bolt, Pinch, etc.
Disclaimer: All assets in this game are unfinished and subject to change.
Known Issues:
As of this writing, the only known issue is the name "Garganturunt" is too long to properly fit into the data box for the Battle UI. This will be fixed in future releases as a custom Battle UI will be made, allowing room for longer Pokaiju names.
