Run the game, extract the patch it downloads, go into patch folder, move folders (should show Data, Graphics, etc) and the version file into your game folder, then relaunch the game

I'd say it depends on the difficulty you're on. Normal is probably close to Rad Red. Expert is closer to Emerald Kaizo

Did you randomize on expert mode between updates at any point?

There's an escape if you go up to the buttons on the walls on the left or right. You'd have quicker responses joining the discord at this point lol
