lol alright then I'll just keep a watch on the sprite as I give him his nickname, I like nicknaming my Pokemon though I have never done a nuzlocke I always did nickname my Pokemon.

lol Baumasaur is cool looking as well I just like using fire or water types more then grass starters. I think in the regular games the only couple of grass starters I ever used is Treecko, Snivy, and Rowlet.

It's possible to get a shiny starter and if you don't know you can do soft reset of the game by pressing F12 on your keyboard. As Lgarabato said I think I got lucky since I got my shiny starter in 20+ soft resets and have a shiny team after doing a lot of random encounters quickly. Don't give up...
