    Hello and thanks for your answer to my question ! According to the encounters guide in the OP, special encounters can be shiny but don't have a shiny overworld appearance. Only normal encounters (the ones that spawn and de-spawn) have shiny overworld sprites.

    Hello! Are hidden abilities available in the game? I tried getting a Riolu with Prankster for so long with no success. Also, is there a way to change pokemon abilities in the game?
